The U.S. Congress must examine what can be done to respond to the Connecticut school shooting, including possibly new legislation, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said on Monday.
Reid told the Senate he agreed with President Barack Obama that no one law could erase evil, but added “we need to accept the reality that we are not doing enough to protect our citizens.” The remarks were significant coming from Reid, a Democrat from Nevada who during Obama’s first term opposed reviving a ban on assault weapons. …
“In the coming days and weeks we’ll engage in a meaningful conversation and thoughtful debate about how to change laws and culture that allow this violence to continue to grow,” Reid said. He said “every idea should be on the table” as lawmakers discuss how to keep America’s children safe. …

This will not end well. They’re going to push this too far.
There is no law, no regulation, no rule even conceivable that could have prevented or stopped the tragedy. .....
Anything to draw attention away from the massive overspending, ongoing deficits, handouts to democrat cronies and the crushing national debt.

Don’t forget, the NRA wrote the 1968 gun control act.
That mean old Constitution of ours must be fixed. After all, it’s for the children.
I agree and I support his implications that any teacher entrusted with the safety of someone else's children must be trained to use and carry at all times a concealed weapon. They also must be able to use the semi-automatic rifle kept in a combination locker that will be installed in every classroom.
They know that no gun control laws will get thru the Congress. Look for regulations and executive orders to get past that pesky problem.........
Require everyone to Concealed Carry so that any one of us can take out a crazed gunman.

I don’t know about the NRA, but the Gun Owners of America have been vocal and out front. An attorney from Gun Owners of NH was on the local news tonight suggesting school administrators should be armed.
The first step in removing evil would be to remove the selfish criminal Harry Reid. Who is he to speak of evil when he also engages in it?
I’m thinking “Million (Armed) Man” march on DC...
