Chris Matthews: 'Outlaw' Semi-Automatic Guns
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 12/18/2012 5:18:18 PM PST by governsleastgovernsbest

I'm in New England this week, and this afternoon caught Ann Coulter on the Howie Carr show. She spoke of the amazing ignorance of liberals when it comes to firearms. Just a couple of hours later, Chris Matthews provided a perfect case in point.

On this evening's Hardball, speaking with Illinois Dem Senator Dick Durbin, Matthews proposed that Congress "outlaw" semi-automatic weapons. Does he not realize that doing so would render illegal virtually every hunting rifle in production? View the video here.

O Riley is on now stating that he thinks every “AR 15 type” weapon should be registered with the FBI.

That's to be expected, yesterday he referred to it as an "AR-47"! He was corrected by his guest.

He is invincibly ignorant as he never stops talking long enough to actually learn something. If he shut his mouth for two minutes he'd explode like the Hindenburg.

Regards,
GtG

BOR is typical of the urban elite living in the megalopis from D.C. to Boston. Totally ignorant of everything firearms and U.S./Constitutional history. Now that Rupert Murdoch has come out against firearms in the U.S., I agree that BOR is doing his master's bidding. BOR just can't wait to get another interview with BHO.

Saw the segment on BOR last night where he and Bernie Goldberg totally dismissed the "far right"'s belief that private ownership of semi-automatic long rifles are necessary should the state become oppressive/tyrannical. They are completely blind to the threat breathing down on us.

She spoke of the amazing ignorance of liberals when it comes to firearms.

This spans a spectrum of subjects. These northeast limousine liberals have no clue what life is like west of the Adirondacks.

I recently talked to a friend via email (Boston) who can't understand why we just don't jump on the local morning train and go from Gila Bend to San Diego. Who needs a car nuch less a SUV?

Remember the idiot politico that didn't know Arizona was a border state?

My wife has a friend in Virginia that sees coyotes as puppy dogs not human traffickers that abandon their pollos in the middle of our desert when the temp is 115.

If an executive order to register guns is not the, pardon the expression, trigger event for armed rebellion I cannot imagine what would be.

So what?

There is no right to hunt. The second amendment is not about hunting.

'Outlaw' Semi-Automatic Guns

Why? Semi-automatic guns weren't even used at Sandy Hook handguns were. So why the outcry against automatic weapons, they're not even relevant.

Unless of course they're going after handguns and automatic weapons are just the opening act of their tyrannical play.

But let's project into the future shall we, to an America where all guns are banned and no evil crazy people can get their hands on such weapons (wink wink). Then, Mr. & Ms. America you will have to huddle in your homes at night just praying no one wants to break in and hurt you because you are finally completely defenseless. Just like our children in the schools we will be helpless to defend our homes and loved ones once our weapons have been taken away. And pray the government will be good to you because there will be no way to stop them either.

I believe I heard Levin say he’s calling Chucky Schumer’s office to see if he or any family member has an unrestricted right to carry in New York city.

This is probably some of the most powerful testimony on the folly of gun control you’ll ever see.

Dr. Suzanna Hupp Testimony on the mass shooting that killed her parents because she obeyed the law and left her gun in the car. The gunman disregarded the law.

Ban the news media.

Every last one of them.

I am no longer going to suffer their stupidity, lies and propaganda.

They have no right to speak.

How will taking guns away from law-abiding citizens keep non-law abiding citizens from acquiring them?

Britain outlawed guns, and they have lots of gun crimes.

I can’t wait for their enforcement plan. Too bad, there just aren’t enough SWAT teams to do the job of confiscation, court order notwithstanding. Maybe the Blue Hemets will assist. Time to turn the US into the Congo.
If we do reach this state of affairs, I think it would be high time to post Matthews address and whereabouts on the Internet. I’m sure a lot of people would want to personally thank him.

Yep these idiots are going to find out what Admiral Yamamoto meant when he said......

"I fear all we have done is awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve."

It ain't 1990 anymore kids. All us ignern't hillbillies are just as tech savy as any liberal college student and we know how to use it. We've been studying you and learning.
