This is way out of the scope of his constitutional responsibilities, and certainly out of the realm of his past experience and expertise. Looks like a great opportunity for a major power grab, though.
“It is important to act while the blood is still fresh,” he might as well have said. More mass shootings have happened in gun-free zones than involved gun shows (this one didn’t) or private sales (this one didn’t).
Obama is slicker than snot.
He is going gun grabbing, but laying the blame for it on that idiot Joe Biden.

Hey odummer, just how effective have firearms bans and or extremely restrictive policies been in places that have tried it? You know, places like Australia, Great Britain, California, Chicago, DC... Aside from idiotic bans and or restrictions on firearms what do these places have in common? They all experienced jumps in violent crime rates when the laws took effect, and their violent crime rates remain above those of similar areas without firearms restrictions. So why would anyone advocate a position they know, THEY KNOW is going to result in more assaults, more rapes, more murders? Either they are psychotic, or ignorant of the facts, or using the situation to advance a political agenda at the cost of the citizens - which pretty well puts them back in the psychotic bucket.
The stimulus sherriff? Oh, that oughtta be good. We haven’t had a Biden outburst for a couple of weeks, we’re overdue.
Probably good news. Has Biden ever led anything that was ultimately successful?
This guy was reelected by the people who want more of this stuff and guess what, we’re getting it.
If we can’t get people out to a ballot box to cast a vote against this guy, what makes you think that there will be a revolution over guns? Obama announced that he wanted to ban gun during his campaign and even on national TV during the debates and still the American people had their chances and they chose poorly.
No Obama voter will march on anyplace for guns.
Biden could eff up a wet dream.
