Higher taxes mean less economic growth and less charitable giving, but too many liberals in the nonprofit sector still haven't figured this out.

Yeah, they just assume a higher % of tax benefit per dollar donated. Which in their feeble minds convinces them donations will increase. Foolish assumption.

By design. They think only goobermint can dole out the goods to the right people. God forbid it include the deserving needy as determined by a willing donor.

If nonprofits knew what was good for them, they would be focusing less on preserving the charitable deduction and more on economic growth and wealth creation.

Oh, that is so true. But they won't. They don't understand that wealth must be created; not printed.
