It is essential that one understand that the “Modern Liberal” is not simply a liberal who happens to be alive today. I call them “Liberals” only because they typically call themselves Liberals, and I felt that any other word would fail to make clear just how prevalent the ideology is. I inserted the modifier “Modern” to make clear that they are not who they say they are, nor are they what “Liberals” used to be. In fact, the Modern Liberal is as much at war against “classical” liberal values as he is against conservative ones, for mature values are not found in the kindergarten classroom, and they can be the stuff about which people might disagree, fight and even war.
The Dork-O-Matic does a pretty good job of beclowning himself.
Those of us who actually learned something in school/university see it immediately.
As for the MSM, well, as Thumper’s mother said.....

They don’t make fun of him because they work for the same boss; the people who type on the teleprompter are the same people that own the lame networks these “comics” draw their pay from. Also, I’m sure they actually like Obama; a lot of defective people do. Nothing is expected of you, everything is someone esle’s fault, and the semi-literate affirmative action clown is in no position to judge you...

Weaken him? No that’s funny. Liberal comics aren’t funny anyway. They are crude, vicious gutter trash. The only way they can half way get a laugh is by using the F bomb every other word.
Last ambulance ride I took was terrific- absolutely great medical paramedic/transport team. After they deposited me in the ER, I gave them two thumbs up and said "5 out of 5. Would ambulate again". They got a big laugh out of it.
(And yes, I was in for something serious.)
So they can’t even use the “he’s so smart” joke gimmick that liberal comics, and one of my college professors, use when they joke about their idols. How insecure are they?
And Ugandan comedians didn’t want to weaken Idi Amin, Cambodian comedians didn’t want to weaken Pol Pot, Chinese comedians didn’t want to weaken Mao Zedong, and Russian comedians most certainly feared weakening the Glorious Comrade Stalin.

They aren’t worried about weakening him. They are pusillanimous and insecure and more concerned about weakening themselves and all the opprobrium that would ensue once they uttered a niggardly negative word.
Presidential elections have evolved.
They used to be front porch affairs with the candidate not even campaigning.
Now they are Late Night campaigns.
Rush worries about how to reach the low informed voter. It’s pretty clear to me how to reach them. Hate to say it but The Marxist knows what shows they watch.
