Theys still have to vote for the new Speaker in January. Boehner should not think that he's a shoo-in to keep his position.

Don't be such a fatalist. A lot can still happen.

Boehner may not keep his Speakership if this continues.

Louie Gohmert for Speaker of the House

We need a speaker that actually speaks for us.

Yeah. A more conservative speaker will emerge and take on President Obama. Get the public on his side. Turn the public against the President. Oh yeah. All that will happen. Surely it must!

As screwed up as the R’s are, they will try to oust “BO’s favorite Boner” and Pelosi will end up as Speaker.

Which in itself may not be bad BUT the D’s will quickly hop on the issue that nothing can be done because of the ‘do nothing R’s, who couldn’t even take advantage of their majority status’.

That may ‘wake up’ the R’s, but I actually think ‘we’ are lucky that ‘we’ kept the House, the way everything else went.

D’s probably thought the lead was uncatchable this time and didn’t waste any time or effort to regain it....
