Burn him!
What does Mark Levin say. Mob rule has taken over. Something like that anyway.
“Tamaqua”
Is that the school principal’s name? (ducking;)
I’ll give you my finger when you pry it from my cold, dead hand.
Once again I see confirmation that we do, in fact, live in Bizarro World.

Tamaqua? Whew, I have to tell you, it’s been decades since I last had a few beers at Took One but I remember that place as being about as hick and in the middle of coal country as can be. I mean, it’s nowhere near any “urban” areas.
At Penn State I had several friends from Tamaqua and these guys kept a shotgun in their apartment and actually took shots at mice.
In the apartment.
Yeah, this doesn’t sound like the Tamaqua I remember, not at all.
There must be more to the story.

Appendage of the apocalypse?
This story belongs on the Mayan Apocalypse live thread.

Kid would be doing 20 to life if he had a rubber band hooked to his finger.
can they use a tomahawk chop motion? How about imitating shooting a bow and arrow? A finger across the throat? Smashing an invisible bottle and it in a dangerous manner? All /s
This is “zero tolerance” which is actually zero intelligence.
But the same kid could give “the bird” and they would think it was cute.
So I guy I work with gets mad driving to work and makes the pointed (gun) finger gesture at a lady. The lady calls the cops. They find him at work (maybe she followed his car). They search the car, they find a gun. He has a concealed permit, so no gun violation (obviously he never touched the gun in regard to the lady, and wasn’t about to). My company fires him for having a gun on their property (which companies can do in Texas, at least back then). I’m not sure if criminal charges were filed on him for “threatening” her with the gesture.
He’s a good guy, was great to work with (never prone to anger at work), and I wish him well. But it shows how a little “comment” can escalate and not only ruin your day, but, in his case at least, likely ruin your career and retirement also (and maybe the ability to pay for your kids to get worthless degrees from college).
