Christians are persecuted and have been for centuries, but what people on the face of the earth have endured so much hatred and persecution and attempts to annihilate them, as have the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, for 4 thousand years? You have to ask “why”?
As a Bible-believing Christian, I believe that the answer is more specific than just general opposition to God and His will. Satan has attempted to wipe out the Jewish people because of God’s promised Annointed One, the Messiah, through the line of Judah and David. There were attempts through men to kill Jesus from birth to the end.
And Satan doesn’t give up, as he doesn’t believe that he is defeated and will lose the title deed to the earth, plus when the Lord returns to this earth to rule and reign from Jerusalem, the believing Jews are going to lead the rest of the world in worship of the Most High and Holy God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the Christian’s God.
I can hardly wait to see His people vindicated and for the glorious reign of Christ, a reign of justice and righteousness.
I never understood the abject hatred for people following a peaceful religion. Yet, followers of an evil and violent religion get treated with kid gloves.
