Full title: D.C. police investigate whether NBC's David Gregory broke city laws when he displayed a magazine clip on live broadcast
The Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department is investigating allegations that NBC's David Gregory violated city laws when he displayed what appeared to be a 30-round gun magazine on 'Meet the Press' Sunday.
'The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating this matter,' police officer and spokesman Araz Alali said Tuesday.
Those who are found guilty of violating the gun bylaws could face up to $1,000 fine or a year in jail.
Is there a way to stop the telemarketers? I have very good telemarketer call prevention, only "friends" of the NRA seem to be able to get through. I would quit the NRA over it, in fact, I did - but, well, you know...
Kinda ridiculous dontcha think??
With an estimated 22,000 gun laws on the books, there must be one or two he violated. Convict him of something and and sentence him to a proscription from ever owning or coming anywhere near a firearm. He should be okay with that.
That is true.
As Mr. Spock once said, "Propelled by sufficient velocity, it would make a formidable projectile."
Alali, Obama, whatever, what’s the difference?
B0 (b4 0bama), it was rare to receive more Justice from the Legal System than one was willing to pay for in time and money.
Now, Justice is down the tubes.
Well, you know if you were to kneel down in front of
the White House and pray and got arrested, and they
found one of those magazines on you, you WOULD be
charged. So it’s simply a matter of equality under
the law.
How I wish Wayne LaPierre had called Gregory on it. “Uh, David, you do know it’s against D.C. law for you to hold that magazine? This is why so-called assault weapon bans or standard capacity magazines should be left to the individual states to regulate, not the Federal Government.”
One of the most highly respected instructors and writers in the self-defense gun community is a fellow named Massad Ayoob.
BUMP!
There is no excuse for him not to be charged as it is on video.

Ah, yeah, zero tolerance is zero tolerance in our schools...
Laws are only for “little people” and not the elite propagandists of the chattering class like David Gregory. Expect nothing to happen. Move along peasants, nothing to see here.
Oh okay, but is he the police chief of Washington DC? I wouldn’t think he’d be allowed in the city if that is so, lol

" 'Did you really think we want those laws observed?' said Dr. Ferris. 'We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted and you create a nation of law-breakers and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with.' " ('Atlas Shrugged' 1957)
Someone needs to go back and find out what Gregory had to sa when Bush I gave an oval office speech and used cocaine or marijuana as a prop saying the drug problem was ubiquitous and could be obtained just blocks from the White House. I am sure gregory went after Bush tooth and fang.
