So? The world is too spineless to take the fight directly to the Muslims, so we get what we deserve.

I am sure that all Islamofascists have been emboldened by Obama’s ‘win’ in November. And he will not bother to stop them as they destroy antiquities from all other religions (see the Buddhas of Bamayyan). We are in an International War for the survival of Freedom and Liberty..

Unfortunately, our socialist establishment would rather see us extinct.

Dayan made a mistake when he left them in control of the site.
It should have been made clear that the site was Israeli territory;
and Israeli laws control what goes on there.
And then, the archaeologists should have been called in.

One of the most fun things I did on my first visit to Israel last summer was to participate in the Temple Mount Sifting Project.
The darling A-rabs had dumped precious antiquities into the city dump and broken them badly in the process. They also bulldozed part of the Temple Mount, destroying priceless artifacts, while building a stupid stairs. The rubble they created was painstakingly retrieved by Israeli archaeologists and taken to the Temple Mount Sifting Project for sifting.
All of our tour group stood in front of sieve-topped tables and each hosed down a bucket of rubble from the ruins of the Temple Mount. We were to sift through every single pebble and particle on the sieve table before us to find valuable archeological items. Three kids found ancient coins. I found a 1,000 year old shard of Byzantine pottery. Others found bone, ancient tile, glass, etc. That bone could have been from a Temple sacrifice. It filled me with awe that right there before me might have been the remains of one of the Torah's sacrificial bulls or lambs. I really could have stood there for hours, rinsing off bucket after bucket to see what I found. This was HISTORY right before me!

This sounds like a job for Gabriel Barkai and his temple mount salvage operation folks. They need to be sent in to find things in the pile of debris. Otherwise it will be sent through rock crushers.
The problem is how to stop illegal digging and construction, that results in the destruction of artifacts. I have often thought that Israel needed to put troops on the Temple Mount to oversee all happenings. The WAQF vermin controlling the site now have a stated goal to erase all traces of the Hebrew heritage of the site (and all other Israeli sites). That is why they build mosques over all old sites and claim that the original sites never existed.
The WAQF is emboldened by European organizations like the University of Copenhagen that go right along with the Iconoclasm and support it in order to continue to receive Islamic Oil Funding. The same funding they receive.

There is absolutely no reason to allow this sham of a “religion” to continue to exist. None.

The Jews are not special. What does Islam not destroy? Most of the historical building and graves surrounding the Kaaba area you see in the Haj season have been bulldozed and disposed of by the fundy Saudis

Thank you. It's a cool project. The guy in the headphones is an archaeologist working on the project. He was explaining what was what to us in front of a board which was a clever replica of the Kotel, with rotating panels. When I photographed him, he had just about finished rotating all the illustrative panels in his shpiel.
Just wish it wasn't necessary to sift through rubble due to the A-rabs deliberately destroying and desecrating Jewish artifacts.

We could boot the Waqf out on his ear for breaking the agreement through which he was granted control in the first place, specifically no unilateral excavations and destruction. Of course, there would be riots, another Intifada maybe. But don’t put off for tomorrow something you can put down today.

The Jews should have retaken the entire Temple Mount in the ‘67 war and destroyed the golden dome.
All this would have been history by now and the world would have forgotten the entire affair.
