So he’s gonna send them out in the streets to confiscate guns?

Criminals are always happy to disarm innocent citizens.

I am sure they will be very helpful and cooperative.
Armed citizens make their career choice potentially very dangerous, you know.

Phony Revs should not give sermons.

Or even better, he could ask them to stop having babies with multiple baby daddies out of wedlock.

To stop supporting Dems? That’s a tall order. Even for the Rev. Jackson.

Black pastors are great at getting people to pray for forgiveness, but I hardly ever hear them tell their congregation to ask for forgiveness from those they’ve wronged and try and make amends.

Incomplete gospel is essentially non-existent gospel.

Even a Hallmark card would have a better chance at saying something that made sense.

Hey Jesse...I think there are some other cultural issues at play here. I'd tell you what they were, but, you know...

Well, the literal gospel is to be forgiven and go and “sin no more” / “stop sinning” / “leave your life of sin” [pick your preferred accurate translation of the Greek]. Amends may appear, and a sincere believer would want to make amends anyhow, but God has the right and power to forgive with or without that. God’s only truly invariable purpose in forgiving sin, is that the sin will end.

Jackson also encouraged inmates to get tested for HIV, register to vote and pray for forgiveness.

Felons can't vote....unless they are Dims

Although I despise the Rev. Jackson at least he is saying something positive for a change.

Positively stupid.....

Free the inmates so they can do Jesse’s bidding.

Get tested for HIV, register to vote and pray for forgiveness.

Not too stupid and very different from his usual drivel. Especially the last part.

Democrats created 40+ years of welfare checks and hopelessness among minorities and others in exchange for votes. They see the nice things others have and the only way to get it is through crime due to a lack of education and incentive. Fix the problem you helped create Jesse.

If you are felon....you can't vote.

The guy is a stain...A shake-down artist...

And seriously not genuine..As his past attests.

“If you are a felon...you can’t vote”

This is true.

But if I understand the article he was preaching at a jail (unconvicted people) not a prison (convicted people).

I completely agree with your assessment of Jackson (and his brother in arms Sharpton).

My point being..for a change he wasn’t spouting his usual “the man is keeping you down”..”you have to rise up against the man” bs. It actually seemed he was calling for a tiny amount of personal responsibility.
