Kerry's alleged ties to Communist China ignored by news media

Conventional wisdom in the nation's capital has it that Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) is a sure bet to be confirmed as U.S. Secretary of State by the U.S. Senate, despite his alleged anti-war propaganda when he returned from his brief tour-of-duty in Vietnam and his ties to China as a senator. In fact, on Sunday leaders of the controversial conservative group known as the Swift Boaters, who attacked John Kerry's military record to derail his bid for the White House in 2004, said they won't actively fight his nomination as Secretary of State.

Even foreign leaders are expected to welcome Kerry as Hillary Clinton's replacement, such as Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who said he welcomed the nomination of U.S. Sen. John Kerry as the next Secretary of State.

"Kerry is a shoe-in the top administration job and few Republicans will attempt to derail his appointment. The people responsible for informing Americans about Kerry's suspicious past have given up their role as purveyors of honest news so there's no chance of Kerry being stopped," said political strategist Mike Baker.

Completely concur.

Still, there is an additional element or two that grates on the mind
regarding Kerry/Vietnam. There is something about tossing your
combat metals over the WH fence and, later, using that very same
combat experience (embellished, as you say) against another
when it suits your political purpose that is absurd to anyone but
a hardcore Democrat. Even WWII bomber pilot George McGovern
was n.ever that crass.

JOHN KERRY is better than Rice because he is a man. To deal with the mid-east, we shouldn’t send a woman!

But when I heard he was nominated, I called my Senators to remind them that in the communist museum in Vietnam is a little corner shrine to John Kerry. They believe he helped them win the war against America.

And that is who we want to represent us????????

"I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody"

You have to ask if that is what Obama wants representing our country?

Nothing to do with China connections, but...My opinion FWIW (next to nothing) is floating Susan Rice as the next SOS was a head fake by O.

If the voters knew Kerry’s Senate seat would open up, the voters in Mass would be more inclined to keep Scott Brown in office where he would remain for 6 years. Now them dems have a hold on a seat with a full 6 year term.

Kerry ran for re-election in 2008. There are just 2 years remaining in his current term. Even if the GOP won the seat in a special election, the dems have 2 years makes plans for a dem win in 2014 for what they hope is perpetuity.

Nah, it was a win-win for the Obamatrons either way. Rice was their toy, bought and paid for. If she did not get in, they would just do the same thing over and over to wear the public down. Kerry was next in line, big deal. Just Obamatron 'rope-a-dope' commie bs. They don't care about anyone or anything but themselves and they don't care who gets the axe. Mark my words, we will see Rice again. They will recycle her like bad plastic.
