Hazel Crest Cops Shoot, Kill Dog During Search For Fugitive
CBS Chicago ^ | December 26, 2012 | Pamela Jones

Posted on 12/27/2012 7:05:17 AM PST by ZULU

The search for a fugitive might have taken a tragic turn; Kenneth Conley escaped from the federal jail in downtown Chicago last week, and one suburban family said the search for Conley claimed the life of their beloved pet.

CBS 2′s Pamela Jones reports this past September was supposed to be the 6-year-old pooch’s birthday, not a prelude to his death Christmas Eve.

And 55,000,000 babies have been reported killed in this country since 1973, that’s just the reported number.

One and a half million babies killed by their mothers, many pressured by their mates, also parents and other relatives every year.

But when dogs get killed by carelessness, or accident, or even maliciousness, that’s when things get really bad.
that’s when the Creator gets ticked and leaves us on our own to deal with foreign usurpers, out of control pornography, ddeteriorating families and spiraling economics.

IT’S the DOGS!

There is an epidemic of cops killing pets. It is no surprise, really, as it is a direct consequence of the lowering down of standards for law enforcement applicants, which necessarily results in an unprofessional police force, whose staff includes undisciplined cretins and border-line psychopaths as a complement to the officers who truly are disciplined, and dedicated, and professional. There was a time when these low-life scoundrels would have been unceremoniously booted from the force, but policitcal correctness and diversity and the police unions have made that almost impossible today.

Would it be ok to post anything except news concerning the tragedy of abortion or is abortion the only topic allowed now?

When are the police departments going to realize that they do themselves no favors by shooting peoples pets? The Police are the interlopers into the Dog’s territory, not the other way around.

As each of these incidents occur it makes the police more and more equal to the thugs on the street. Only the police have better uniforms and more toys on their belts. Mind you this is a perception that the families and friends Pet and owners are developing.

I’m not saying it is a correct one, but IT IS developing. And then more people of this country get to be more fearful and suspicious of the very people that have been hired to “serve and protect” them.

Actually, I think this is taught at the Academy Level for Law Enforcement - “When in the slightest doubt about a dog’s intentions - shoot it. There is no penalty if you are wrong.”

You are unfortunately, like many, grossly misinformed as to the mission of all LE.

Their purpose is NOT to protect YOU. (Research court cases regarding LE NOT being liable in cases of slow/poor/non-response to request for aid.)

Their SOLE mission is to preserve the peace (hence ‘Peace Officer”). Preservation of your property, life and well being are only “collateral” benefits and are NEITHER the primary goal nor guaranteed.

The occurrence of any such collateral benefits is incidental to their primary mission - preserving the peace and protecting the ongoing functionality of The State (and generating Revenue via Traffic Enforcement Extortion.).

Welcome to 1984 and the Brave New World.

It may also be a deliberate change in policy designed to drive a wedge between the population and police. If the civilians can be conditioned to not trust the police, the civilians will be less cooperative.

With a distrustful, and uncooperative, civilian population, the police will be conditioned to be less concerned about things like Constitutional rights.

They don’t care. They do it because they can. They do it because they have become far less of a public servant than just another, union thug, albeit a very specialized and well armed union thug.

As long ass voters are willing to write these 20 year wonders a free check instead of making them answer to civilian review boards and a CIVILIAN, and NOT police Department head, they will act with greater and greater arrogance and impugnity.

They have, indeed, become the “New Centurions”.

That’s why “Serve and Protect” is in quotes. I am aware of those rulings.

The police have devolved into revenue agents and Post-crime note-takers. I expect that we shall soon see the “Nice Business/Home you have here. It would be a shame to have something happen to it or your family.” type of shake-downs start to occur as tax revenues fall even farther.

Some of have the ability to care about more than one thing at a time. Just because we don’t like cops shooting dogs does not mean that we do like people aborting babies.

However, when you throw in abortion to every other evil that exists, in the world today, you’re not doing the pro-life movement any favours.

Drugs are evil, but we should be talking about abortion.
Pedophilacs should be killed, but we should be talking about abortion.
Obama may not be an American, but we should be flailing against abortion.
The politicians may ban guns, but we should be talking about abortion.

It’s in your best interest to not introduce the topic of abortion, when a topic is about another kind of evil, if you want people to continue to pay attention to abortion, which is a genocidal holocaust.

Nobody here supports abortion to my knowledge. Inserting it into another discussion in the way you is non-sensical.

Apparently you feel that because abortion exists and is such a terrible evil, its overriding issues should take precedence before any other humanitarian discussions, which is,illogical.

I’m being KIND with the word illogical.

If you read my comments, with care, you would have found that I was responding to somebody trying to minimize the issue by comparing with the horror of abortion.
