Goodbye USA.
As a child and as a young man I loved my country, served in the U. S. Army and paid taxes that gradually became enormous.
Our Congress meanwhile was heaping more and more taxes hidden in devious ways and regulating everything in my life from toilets to air bags to fuel for my vehicles.
Unlike the lifers in Washington I now admit that I dislike my nation intensely and wish there was a way I could cash in everything, take the money and run off to the Cayman Islands.
Things will never change in the few years I have left and perhaps not in the life spans of my children and grandchildren. I never thought this nation would end up with a phony, unknown, psycopath with the name of Barack Hussein Obama running things like a banana republic without the bananas!
Oh, I hate to hear you say that, and yet I completely understand. I thought that Obama being president for 4 years would be something this country could recover from. But now, 4 more years.....I don’t know. I’m disgusted too, and don’t see how the US can ever recover our former resilience, honor, and independence. Who are these people who voted for him and why is it ok to live like this? I just can’t watch any longer.
