So explain to us all how Obama was re-elected with multi millions fewer vote this time? The problem was with the Republicans more than it was that everyone was in love with Obama. Face it, conservatism requires intellect, something that’s in short supply in this country today. But the morons on the Right who stayed home because Romney wasn’t pure enough for their vote got FUBO re-elected. Romney was admittedly the shits of a candidate both as to his politics as well as his wooden personality on the stump, but if the “intelligent conservative” sits out the election ( and they did) all of us suffer. The idea of waiting around for the “right candidate” guarantees that the country will go Marxist, and it is!

Because he still got more people to vote for him than the other guy. America picked the commie, again, and this time we can’t explain it away so easily. Our country really is that foolish.
You want to focus on some little band of scapegoats, but that’s not on my agenda, so ply your wares elsewhere. If anyone is to blame, politically, for the loss, it’s Romney, since he was the candidate. It’s his job to win, not the people’s job to vote for him.

True, but at the end of the day you have two candidates from which to choose. Choosing “None of the Above” is BS! You can bitch all you want about neither of the candidates being worthy of the position, but one of them is going to have the seat despite your adverse feelings. So you are a little like a politician who votes “present.” Romney was last on my list, but when you look at him versus Obama it was no contest. To suggest that “opting out” until “your guy is the candidate is just amazingly stupid in my view. That’s the difference between the parties. The RATs usually support their party’s nominee, but the R’s don’t.
Why SHOULD the Makers be hopeful?
I see your points. However-—
1) Dear Leader is going about reshaping the military and driving out the real men. He is also shrinking the military. He may not be able to drive all of the patriots out, but he seems to be weakening the forces.
2) Even if he does not get the degraded military he envisions, he is building up his own quasi-military forces.
3) We live in a different culture than you and I grew up in. The deliberate dumbing down and indoctrination in the schools has produced a vast number of young people who do not know and respect our history and our cultural heritage. In addition, both parties have allowed our society to become infested with illegal aliens and with legal aliens who refuse to assimilate. Who will be there to even understand the destruction, let alone be motivated to rebuild.
I pray I am very, very wrong. And I wish that I shared your confidence in the future.

Ok, great, go out and start a voter turnout drive or something. I don’t know why you’re griping to me about it.

Nonsense. Turnout varies with every election, for both parties, based on the same basic principles. If the Republican party or candidate didn’t manage to get the turnout, then it’s because they didn’t apply those principles in their favor.
