The Obama Culture Arrives
Townhall.com ^ | December 28, 2012 | Brent Bozell

The year 2012 was a depressing time for people who are already pessimistic about the state of our common culture. Conversely, the re-election of Barack Obama, in large measure made possible by the heavy financial support of Hollywood, projects the optimism of the cultural Left. They anticipate increased blue-state voting patterns in favor of gay "marriage," legalized pot, gun regulations, and what next? Legalized prostitution? Euthanasia subsidized by Obamacare?

So let's just line up the cultural winners of Obama's America, where the only impediments to progress are those who believe in religion, manners and "family values."

Winner: Seth MacFarlane, the creator of the sick "Family Guy" cartoon and other Fox animated smutcoms on Sunday nights. He'll mock anything to shock the viewer, from portraying Jesus as a lying drunk, to joking Ronald Reagan was gay, even to making fun of domestic violence. Tinseltown loves this man. He guest-hosted "Saturday Night Live" in their season debut, was named host of the 2013 Academy Awards telecast and ABC's Barbara Walters named him one of the year's 10 "Most Fascinating People."

"Seth is the vision and the sensibility behind America's most popular and profitable cartoon series," Walters cooed. "Seth is a hands-on mastermind." She proclaimed, "The 'Family Guy' franchise is said to be worth nearly 2 billion dollars." She concluded by promoting his Oscar hosting gig: "In two months, hundreds of millions will be watching this writer, producer, actor, cartoonist, singer, multi-millionaire and all-around genius, and we'll all find out just how far Seth MacFarlane can go."

MacFarlane's filthy semi-animated movie, "Ted," grossed (literally grossed) $218 million at the box office. This was the movie described efficiently as "a boy's teddy bear comes to life and becomes a profane slacker who practically lives inside a bong and hires hookers in groups." The most unnecessary scene of the year was this teddy bear coming on to a sleazy fellow employee by not only doing pelvic thrusts, but also by spraying himself in the face with hand lotion -- a porny orgasm shot on a child's toy.

That's "sensibility," says the Obama culture.

Winner: MacFarlane's older sidekick, Bill Maher, the toxic atheist HBO star and the epitome of self-indulgent Hollywood liberalism, a man who shamelessly denounces the rest of America as a nation of idiots.

Maher wrote a million-dollar check to Obama's Super PAC Priorities U.S.A. The liberal media labored mightily to connect Mitt Romney to Donald Trump, but have said almost nothing to connect Maher to Obama.

Maher had another year of vicious commentary. Late in the campaign, he joked, "If you're thinking about voting for Mitt Romney, I would like to make this one plea: black people know who you are, and they will come after you." After Obama's victory, Maher joked about Karl Rove, "It was a little Hitler's bunker, wasn't it? I wanted to rush in with a cyanide capsule there."

He summed up the election this way: "It is your choice, America, because for me it is a win-win. If it's Obama, America wins, and if it's Romney, comedy wins." Maher has set the tone: Comedy is strictly deployed against the people who don't like Obama. If that feels like a Third World backwater to you, welcome to the Obama culture.

Winner: Roseanne Barr. She just won't go away. She was honored as comedic trailblazer for women with a Comedy Central roast. Katey Sagal, who played a foolish bimbo mom on "Married with Children," used the occasion to whack at Ann Romney: "Roseanne, I feel honored that you and I broke new ground as TV moms who didn't cook, didn't clean and didn't make any money. In the '90s, that made you a bad mom. But today it makes you Mitt Romney's wife."

Roseanne also exemplified the Obama culture's reaction to Chick-fil-A, in several Christian-bashing Twitter rants in July, including: "Anyone who eats S--t Fil-A deserves to get the cancer that is sure to come from eating antibiotic filled tortured chickens 4Christ". Then came the geopolitics: "Off to grab a s--it fil-A sandwich on my way to worshiping Christ, supporting AIPAC and war in Iran."

Winner: Howard Stern. NBC parted with $20 million to bring in the old shock-jock as a sharp-tongued judge on their summer show "America's Got Talent." The ratings dropped, but in the Obama culture, that's not really the point. NBC just announced Stern signed a new contract for 2013 to repeat his "towering presence and opinions," because his "dedication comes across in a genuine way to our viewers who share his passion."

The slogan for Team Obama in 2012 was "Forward." There's nothing forward about the Obama culture, however. It is down, down, straight down, into the abyss.

Let us NOT be in denial.

The origin of ObamaCARE and gay marriage is Mitt Romney
happily imposing both.

Mitt Romney who also gave America OBAMA from Romney’s
surrogates’ attacks on Gov. Palin to throw the Election.

Sam Donaldson’s comment must be the rallying cry for organization to do something about all of this. Either we begin to pull together, or all is lost. Then, God takes the stage.

We need to get over Romney.

He ran, and he lost.

Palin needs to step up now. Give us a real alternative to focus on, and keep us motivated.

Where are you Sarah?

Our bigger problem will be the PhonyCon Liberals who keep telling us we need to support gay marriage, illegal alien amnesty, attack conservative media like WND & Drudge, drop Obama Eligibility.....basically follow the liberal agenda. This is what people like Hannity, Coulter, Malkin, OReilly, etc....have been doing

Forget Sarah. I admire and respect her, but she is damaged goods. The press pretty much destroyed her.

We don’t need a leader right now as much as we need to demonize the Left and its propaganda arm, the mainstream press. Shouldn’t be hard, considering that they are already demonic.

At this point, we must work as guerrilla cells, attacking the credibility of the press and the glaring hypocrisy and moral turpitude of the Left’s leadership and the Hollywood Left.

Should be very easy to find material. Getting press exposure and airtime is our only challenge.

“Palin needs to step up now. Give us a real alternative to focus on, and keep us motivated.

I agree and I love Palin. But when virtually every media outlet portrays her as incompetent that’s like running a marathon into the full-power jet exhaust from a 747 engine. She would exhaust herself, her money and her support. Even my sister, 69, who is as conservative as they come “knows” how bad Palin is. (This because, like many people, she has CNN playing 24/7 in the background.) My sister thinks she can separate the news from the propaganda but she isn’t that clever and the constant propaganda wins.

The electorate divides roughly into 40% Left/leaning, 40% Right/leaning and 20% Center/leaning. But out of that grouping virtually all of the left are low information voters. I’d estimate that 10% of the right are low information voters and 11% of the center are low information voters. Add in the pervasive effects of the biased media propaganda machine with Hollywood movies and celebrities and Palin is toast. (If the election is close then look for lawsuits and cheating game which the right hasn’t played well.)

Ronald Reagan overcame these odds because he was a celebrity, he had unquestioned gravitas and the times were right. Romney was defeated because, although the time was right, he was Obama Lite. A critical portion of the right stayed home rather than vote for him.

Incidentally, it really annoyed me when Tadd Romney said his father really didn’t want to run.

Romney was the most sap-happy, tight *** candidate we’ve ever seen.

But the dork never looked more stupid and sap-happy than the night he conceded-—in the face of massive voter fraud-—with that patented Republican “look-how-dumb-I-am” grin on his sappy face.

Mitt was duped and dumbed-down til the bitter end.

FR POSTED America is now run by angry, feral adolescents fueled by hatred, jealousy and revenge
Coach Is Right ^ | December 21st, 2012 | Derek Hollenbeck

POSTER COMMENTS It’s not uncommon for some in the minority community to believe that the white establishment (Republicans) uses its power to slander and destroy those who threaten the "status quo"......

Snide remarks about the “invisible and permanent powers-that-be” (Republicans) trying to take down minorities...... is a sentiment some minorities bandy about when they try to justify (what they deem) is their loser status.

================================================

THIS KIND OF PERVERSE CORRUPT THINKING IS REMINSCENT OF THE POST-CIVIL WAR ERA----Carpetbaggers---Northern invaders into the South ----were prominent in politics until 1875, but nearly all left under pressure from the Red Shirts and White Liners -----white paramilitary organizations, then-described as "the military arm of the Democratic Party", working openly to violently overthrow Republican rule, using intimidation and assassination to turn Republicans out of office and suppress freedmen's (former slaves) voting.

The Republican sheriff of Yazoo, Mississippi, received a brief flurry of national attention when insurgent white Democrats took over the county government and forced him to flee. (WIKI)

================================================

FREEPER ACTION MEMO In 1875, Hiram Revels, a Mississippi Republican--and the first African-American US Senator-- wrote to then-Pres Ulysses S. Grant denouncing Northern invaders into the post-Civil War south for manipulating the Black vote for personal benefit, and for keeping alive wartime hatreds. (WIKI)

We need to get someone with integrity----like Cong Allen West (not reelected)----- to write letters to his colleagues, and to the media.

Cong West needs to do the following:

(1) decry the agitation and intimidation tactics being used by these groups,

(2) expose using hatemongering for personal gain,

(3) emphasize the illegalities WRT threatening members of the US Congress,

(4) precpitate investigations into fraud and intimidation upon our electoral/legislative system by these hate-mongering groups, and,

(5) determine the scope and dimension of subversion these activities are visiting on US ntl security.

THRIVING ON CHAOS The disturbed Obamatons are creating a dysfunctional chaotic culture, The anti-social psychopaths recognize no moral and ethical boundaries----aggressively going after what they want, irregardless of the consequences.

Vote-crazed para-military Democrats are aiding and abetting their Fifth Column----a cabal of hate-filled invaders crossing our borders unimpeded, all of them lying in wait to harm Americans, a cabal of ruthless predators w/ no empathy for others all infected with the "gimmes."

I disagree, but that is part of the reason I want her to start earlier than later.

Palin does have some makeup to do. But her fundamentals are the strongest of anyone.

Get with it Palin. Your children are very nearly grown.

Step up.

Reagan had gravitas because he began his conservative quest in the 50s. He spent 25 years building up to the right moment in 1980. He did not have a 24 hour barrage against him as we have today. Speaking of gravitas, who even comes close to that today? Does anyone even know what that is? To me Clarence Thomas is about the only one because he has spent 20 to 25 years defending conservatism. Sarah may be the one, but it may take another 15 years before that can happen. General Swartzkopf died last night and he is probably the only person with true gravitas that anyone under 35 can remember.

Everyone is damaged and if they are not... they will be when the progressive propaganda machine kicks in with lies of all kinds. What needs to be gotten over... is us ever finding a perfect candidate... what we must do is that we must find competent Conservatives... damaged or not... because no one is more damaged than obama... no one is meaner than obama... no one is more corrupt than obama... and he just kicked our collective arses.

Sarah could do it if she prepared now. We would have to have a few conservative media outlets with enough fire power to help her fight the onslaught.

As far as debating nobody on the left could touch her if she could speak uninterrupted and guard against the spinning of her comments out of context.
