Is there just ONE adult left in DC?
What a disgrace, an utter disgrace. Every negative trait known to mankind is embodied in these idiots.

Isn’t it funny how there is no “gang of 14 or whatever to defeat this when a dem is in power?
When the GOP takes over, they won’t have the balls to do the same thing to the dems. They will fight for the rights of the minority.
Dems play to win, republicans play to be invited to parties and to appear on face the nation.

Do the rats really want to do this? Really? If so, when they are again in the minority they will find that payback is indeed a bitch.

The Dems know how to play political hardball. The know how to use power. The Reps had control of Congress and allowed the Dems to filibuster judicial appointments--a first. They could have used the nuclear option then but refused.
We are not playing by the Marquis of Queensbury rules. We are dealing with the raw exercise of power. The Dems know that they are now the permanent majority party when it comes to control of the WH. They don't have to worry about the Reps controlling the Senate anytime soon.
The Reps are the Stupid Party and deserve every humiliation the Dems can perpetrate on them.

They are not going to be in the minority in the Senate for a long time to come. And they have locked up the WH for as far as the eye can see.

The Dems know how to play political hardball. The know how to use power. It's not a matter of "knowing how". It's a matter of political abuse.
Dems have no problem doing this because they favor dictatorships.
The GOP don't...they favor freedom. And rightly so.

After they eliminate the “Filibuster Rule”, Emperor Barack Hussein Obama the 1st can abolish the House of Representatives and institute a more mailable form of Government.
You know, a "Fascist" form of Government

If the Reps are afraid to get down in the dirt with these bullies and choose to stay above the fray, they lose as does the country.

They are setting the table so that their Reich will last a thousand years. No payback is anticipated.

Dumping the filibuster, gun control, climate change and other assorted liberal chestnuts, plus fearful red state rats facing reelection in ‘14, could well put the senate back in GOP control.

When the GOP takes over, they wont have the balls to do the same thing to the dems. Worse than that, IF the GOP is ever in power again, it'll be back to the "power sharing" schtick that they've done in every other time they've taken power.
Of course, the Dems believe in "power sharing" as well so it all evens out. Right? RIGHT?
To: SMGFan
The only card left for the GOP to play is push for ‘proportional’ allocation of electoral college votes in states like PA, etc. Otherwise they will be extinct.

“when they are again in the minority”
In 2004, I received a phone call survey during election season. The man led me down to the question of what I thought about 1-party rule. When I said that was crazy, he LAUGHED derisively. I hung up.

By bitch you must mean a cringing, whipped dog that submissively pees all over the place whenever the Dems look crossly at it. Because that is all of the bitch I know in the neo-Whig party that pretends to be the Republicans.
