New York (CNN) -- A blogger has posted the home addresses of staffers from a newspaper after the paper published an online, interactive map showing names and addresses of all handgun permit-holders in New York's Westchester and Rockland counties.
Christopher Fountain, who is also a gun owner, spoke to CNN's "Starting Point with Soledad O'Brien" on Thursday to explain his reasoning behind the posting. "I felt they were using this to harass gun owners," Fountain said of the newspaper's staff. "So I harassed them back."
Fountain posted the name, home address and phone numbers of the Journal News' publisher, editor, visual editor and several other staff members. Fountain told CNN's "Early Start" that he was offended by the newspaper's actions and "wondered how they would like it if their addresses were published."

It would be so fair and just if their front yard were all full of bused in mobs threatening their families and property. I’ll bet the SEIU will be right on that.

First of all, he could have pointed out - here at this table there are four of you and me, alone. The media, again, in force trying to squash and QUESTION ‘we the people’s’ voice. The media is bias and here is a perfect example of it as you set it up this way!
Secondly, I think it’s for the public good on who/where they live that the viewers and readers know who it is exactly feeding them everyday.
Third, to compare legitimate gun owners to a mentally deranged man who stole his mother’s gun is over the top, and deceiftul at it’s core.
Fourth: The media can give it but thin skinned when they receive it. They need to grow up and realize they are NOT TO TREAD on US. We don’t have the microphone but we do have a voice and WILL USE IT.
FIFTH: They better hope they didn’t reveal anyone’s name/address who has an order of protection against anyone and they die because of deceptive practices of the media as the pen is mightier than the sword.
I didn’t take it as a joke but it sure was good! There is nothing like when one private citizen stands up for us Patriots because it is so rare. Paid politicians don’t even do it! Probably have to form a committee to discuss it first.
Now we need the home address and personal phone numbers of all the politicians...
Absolutely! And all Politicians and their wives including estates,ranches,and property owned in all 50 States and overseas. If they can’t stand the heat, then get out of the kitchen.
Imagine the outrage of Soledad O’ if they had published a map of gays or muslims. The new twist on that map is that at least some of it is old. Many have moved or passed on.
Nice to see we are being creative in using thier own tactics against them. Lets keep up the good work

Indeed. The MSM is guilty will be guilty of incitement if anyone on their "list" has their house broken into, their property is defaced, or a member of their household is assaulted. This article was published purely to demonize, marginalize, and ostracize legal gun owners. It is hauntingly reminiscent of the Nazis forcing all Jews to wear arm bands to identify themselves.

I have yet to see a link to any listing of these newspaper people with that information.
Every story about it includes the gun permit maps.
This list obviously needs to be expanded to the loudest of the loud mouth gun control types in New York. And it should include pictures of the mansions of the wealthiest of them, along with annotations if they own guns, showing that they are hypocrites.
