Al Qaeda offers gold bounty for the life of US ambassador in Yemen
Telegraph UK ^ | 31 December 2012

An audio produced by the group's media arm, the al-Malahem Foundation, and posted on militant websites said it offered three kilograms of gold worth $160,000 (£99,000) for killing the ambassador, Gerald Feierstein.

The group said it will pay 5 million Yemeni riyals (£14,000) to anyone who kills an American soldier inside Yemen.

It said the offer is valid for six months.

The bounties were set to "inspire and encourage our Muslim nation for jihad," the statement said.

One little loose thread from Benghazi that Obama and the MSM can’t tie down.

The purpose of the bounty is to encourage the Muslim nation to jihad? It was my impression that jihad was a spiritual battle. If Muslims have to be paid to engage in jihad; is it really jihad?

Isn’t this just a case of a muslim mercenary/assassin trying to cash in what amounts to a contract killing?

And Hillary relaxes at Presbyterian Hospital, unable to testify.

Is the offer “void where prohibited?”

Lay off, the woman is really sick. I detest the Clinton's as much as the next guy, but there is a time to act civil.

Goes to show a just how stupid the Muzzies are. The U.S doesn't give a rats rear about our ambassadors.

I think that Susan Rice would make a great ambassador to Yemen.

She got 'busted' by the press for partying in Punta Cana, so had to check into a hospital to stop the critics.

Surely you are being sarcastic, if not then you are on the wrong website.
No sympathy for traitors, ever. It’s time Hillary passed, she has done enough damage to our country.

Our ambassador to Yemen is named Gerald Feierstein?

Incredibly brave or incredible chutzpah

I suffered a serious blood clot in my lung about 10 years ago, and I never spent a day in the hospital. I reported daily for my shot of blood thinner and then was on a weekly blood test watch for several more months. Not a day in the hospital, however. Of course, I don’t have Hillary’s health plan.

Has Bill, or Chelsea, rushed to her side?

Sign me skeptical.

I guess if she’d always been aboveboard in her dealings, I’d believe her now. But, given her history, I just can’t acccept this latest excuse.

The US really needs to put a bounty on jihadists -- two cents, a penny an ear.

Incredibly brave.

Can we sober up a bit? We have all the hand-wringing on FR after Benghazi, but many of us make light of this threat . . . there are a bunch of brave people in the US Embassy in Yemen, including the COM - they need your prayers and support.

I think it is the US government that needs to sober up before continuing to assign women, gays and Jews as ambassadors and station chiefs etc to hardline islamic countries basically run by al Qaeda sympathizers.

PC provides no model of western enlightement to these savages, it only places a huge target on the backs of those individuals and then our nonresponse weakens our nation even more.

Someone named Feierstein an ambassador in Yemen, working for and dependent for his security on this president, presumably fully aware of what took place in Benghazi?

In the real world, we have adjectives for this kind of individual, but “brave” sure isn’t one of them.
