They should make the police station a ‘gun free zone” so that criminals will not be able to operate there. If they do it retroactively these people will come back to life.

That’s the power of liberalism and Obama.

Oh yeah I almost forgot: (sarc)

Maybe they can get around the 2nd. Amendment by declaring the USA a gun free zone.

We’ve never had a female police officer at our department (of about 15 officers). Our County Department (of about 14 officers) had a female officer once for 1.5 years before she resigned....because “the job wasn’t the life for her”.

This reminds me of something that happened in Mass. some years back. A very athletic, muscular black guy with a pretty good rap sheet was alone in the courthouse elevator with an armed matronly (near 60) courthouse police woman. She was transporting him from the holding cell floor to the courtroom. He easily disarmed her, and killed 5 or 6 in the courthouse, including a judge, before he was taken down.

How many female firefighters died on 9/11? When I looked at the list of the names of the dead at the NYFD website I did not see any names that would indicate female. Only the men have the strength to carry the heavy equipment up the stairs.

Sounds like the March 2005 courthouse shooting in Atlanta. A convict (Brian Nichols) disarmed a female deputy and killed five people, including a judge and a court reporter.

Imagine the bloodbath that will follow when only criminals and politicians possess firearms.

(You don’t think that politicians will surrender their guns, do you?)

Does anyone know where in N.J. this occurred?

Not sure. However allow me to relay a similar scenario.

About 30 years ago I was a volunteer fireman. We had a young gal of about 22-23 years of age who wanted to join the company. Provided she passed the physical and mandatory 4 week training, we agreed to make her a member. She passed.

During our weekly drills and actual incidents it became apparent she was not up for the job. She couldn't handle the nozzle as front man. She had difficulties opening a hydrant. She couldn't grasp the concept of double clutching a class A pumper. She couldn't understand friction loss. Couldn't place a fly ladder. On and on.

She left of her own accord.

Didn’t that happen in Atlanta? And then he invaded some lady’s house and she got him to give up by reading him The Purpose-Driven Life or something?

Just like during Prohibition. I bet politicians like the Kennedy’s enjoyed their illicit scotch in the evenings then wine with dinner.

You’re all correct—I was thinking of the Atlanta incident. I was in MA when I heard about it... getting confused in my golden years.

I got the principle right though.
