Three days after CIA and State Department eyewitnesses reported on Sept. 15 that there had been no protest in Benghazi, Libya, before terrorists attacked the U.S. diplomatic mission and a CIA facility there on Sept. 11, President Barack Obama and White House Spokesman Jay Carney both publicly linked the attacks, which killed four Americans, to protests against an anti-Muslim video that had been posted on YouTube. …

However, according to a new report by the Senate Homeland Security Committee, personnel working at the CIA “Annex” in Benghazi on Sept. 11 reported on Sept. 15 that there had been no protest in Benghazi that day, and State Department security personnel who survived the Benghazi attacks told FBI interviewers on Sept. 15 and Sept. 16 that they, too, had seen no evidence of any protest before the attacks. …

If President Obama and his spokesman did not know by Sept. 18 what the CIA and the FBI already conclusively knew by then, people working in the State Department’s Diplomatic Security command center certainly did—as an internal State Department email exchange showed. …

Beyond the CIA, right after the attack we read here that there was no protest. There was the owner of the building saying so. There were eyewitness reports saying so. Meanwhile the administration was apologizing for embassy attacks in Egypt that evolved from protests. If we gave them the benefit of the doubt we would say the administration was confused about Egypt (protests) and Libya (terrorist attack). OTOH, they are proven sleazy liars so, no.

Thank you for posting this Olog-hai. I am afraid there are still many people that do not understand how corrupt this administration is. Benghazi was not some tragic missed phone call or negligent state department worker. I love Issa, but he's asking why we were not prepared to protect our people and our consulate. He should be asking if we are ready for a war with Russia.

The news report fails to note that shortly after the initial attack in Cairo, the US embassy in Cairo issued an apology for the video, blaming the video for the Cairo "protests". Mitt Romney then criticized the Obama administration for the apology.

The US news "reporters" then went apoplectic over the Romney criticism. For several days US reporters underwent a feeding frenzy over Romney's mild criticism of "The One". This emboldened Obama to deflect the obvious indication of his foreign policy failures in Libya and the Middle East as simple protests over a video. He was rightfully convinced that the media would go after Romney for partisan criticism, rather that himself for inane policy.

Obama has played this exactly right. There has yet to be any serious reporting of his and Madame Clinton's inept Middle East Foreign Policy failures.

The continuing to lie after it was known the protest didn't lead to the terrorist attack is a two bit attorney's trick intended to make people believe another lie.

When the spontaneous lie fell through they continued to lie so people would say there was no connection between the protest and the attack, which people know believe.

In reality, the attack was planned then the protest was planned to make it appear as if the terrorist are so in tune with the news they can pick up on a news story and plan an attack in a matter of a few minutes, in other words “spontaneous”.

The purpose of the protest was to create the spontaneous lie.

Hillary and Obama orchestrated the attack, and the “spontaneous” lie is the proof. They lied about what was supposed to happen but never happened.

I’ll always think the protests over the video in Cairo were planted by the DC MusBro cabal to set the stage for taking away the 1st amendment of free speech when it comes to Islam. Benghazi got in the way.
