Just a long observation here...but it wouldn’t take more than half-a-page of legislation to tie registering weapons to a database, and you couldn’t buy ammo without being in the database. Course, it’d trigger a trend to make your own ammo, but they’d figure out the ingredients and tie them to the database as well.

As for the ten-round clips....it’s a comical piece. You run out of bullets in one clip....you flip a new clip in and continue shooting. It just makes people happy to feel like there’s now a limit to the madness.

If you look at almost all of these episodes over the last decade that trigger this gun control talk....the culprits are all people who should have been in a mental facility. Yet, we aren’t talking about recreating a network of mental facilities across America.

I took a look at the Patrick Purdy episode, the original "school shooting" in Stockton, Calif., that led to the "assault weapons" ban in California. That guy was a fruitcake, too -- and a left-winger. Decorated his clothing with peace signs, other Left paraphernalia.

Jared Loughner, "the Joker" in Aurora Colo., Arthur Bremer (who shot George Wallace), the Unabomber, the D.C. sniper, Harris and Klebold, were all, ALL left-winger/death-culture trash and half of them psychos.

Relatively few can be associated with conservative issues like abortion, but that doesn't stop the Media from smearing us with every kind of lie they can think up.

But neither thes crazies nor their victims are what gun control is about. It's about politics and power, and has only honest people as the objects -- and intended victims -- of the contemplated policy.

The accusation has been made repeatedly, that ATF and the FBI have abused the NIC checks to compile a database of firearms owners -- in straight-up disobedience of repeated expressions of the will of Congress that they not do so. They were expressly told NOT to do that, but under both Clinton and George W. Bush, they did so and they continued to do so.
