Democrats came out on top big-time in the fiscal-cliff bill approved by the House Tuesday, says conservative commentator Charles Krauthammer.

Congress agreed to increase taxes on individuals with annual income of $400,000 in exchange for little in the way of spending cuts.

“It’s a complete rout by the Democrats,” Krauthammer told Fox News. “Tonight is one of the low points that Republicans have had...

You would think. Unfortunately there are a few Boehner apologists who claimed that Boehner had the democrats over a barrel.

If you’d like to agree that my congressman did the right thing by voting no, there’s a poll here.

I’m surprised that Krauthammer isn’t celebrating. After all, he was one of Obama’s biggest cheerleaders in 2008. Not a conservative. A Beltway hack.

We are now in a full stall and spin. To recover, we must go full “stick down and opposite rudder” and hope we have enough altitude to pull out.

“Stick down and opposite rudder” means get rid of the Republican party.

Totally.

Wipe them out.

Burn the remains.

And then take a bodacious Obama on the ashes.

I no longer want to hear - nor will I speak of - any dim-bulb-crat or repulsican party member.

I am getting real tired of Charles Krauthammer telling me how the left is kicking the rights ass.
I know they have won every battle for the past 10 years, I am just getting tired of Mr Krauthammer telling me.

Out of airspeed (except for straight down), altitude, and ideas — maybe it’s just time for conservatives to bail out.

Why doesn't Krauthammer go the final yard and call for Boehner's replacement?

After all these Republican losses, why would they blindly put Boehner back in the Speaker's chair for another two years?

That would be the definition of madness.

That's funny. I never heard that from Krauthammer at all. Maybe you could point me to some cites.

It’s very simple. obama’s opposition ceased to exist once he was allowed to steal the election. The republicans allowed it to happen, with some even saying publicly “He won fair and square”. All they are now is someone the left can ridicule.

I feel for those who will have to live under obama for many years to come. But I laugh at the idiots who voted for him. For they will get what they deserve. They will see their children and grandchildren live in bondage. And they will come to realize way too late that it was they who made the chains.

I have heard an occassional “compliment” for Bh0 from Krauthammer, but those were ususally sarcastic, which he does quite well and often. And there are times when one has to compliment their enemy in what the enemy achieved dispite one’s own efforts against it. Another name for that is “giving the devil his due” and isn’t as much a compliment as a recognition of fact.

Think here of a football game, where your team is scored against because of a brilliant play by the opposition. (hopefully you are an American football fan)

The democrats voted with boner yesterday. They’ll vote for him for speaker if the votes are needed.

frankly, I am surprised that the DEMS agreed to the bill as it is. They made permanent the Bush tax cuts. (for 99%). the tax cuts they opposed for 12 years. The dems had a chance to really pile a huge tax increase, historical, on the American people. The New Party should rioting in the streets about this bill.

The House GOP negotiated like stooges. But I’m shock dirty Harry didn’t screw us worse. They cannot raise taxes again without the House and they didn’t need a vote in the House for the taxes to go up this time. The cuts were expirin’, remember.

This budget deal with the Democrats is the beginning of the end for our Republic. The GOP needs to be dissolved and replaced with a new conservative party. The string of failures starting with the squandering of the take over of the House in 1994 and the disasterous nominations of Dole, McCane and Romney have made the GOP the midwife for Obama’s Marxist state.
