Nationally, FBI firearm sales checks jumped from 1,997,703 in November 2012 to 2,776,105 in December. Obama continues to be the best salesman on earth.

A statistic that must make the Obama’s and Feinstein’s of the world crap their pant. Almost three million guns sold to citizens in only ONE MONTH! (actually it could even be more than 3 million, because multiple gun purchases only require one background check)

In some states CHLs do not have to do a check, it could well be more than that number.

Texas had 1,438,000 which is not a surprise but we were beat by Kentucky with 2,589,000. this was the forth year that Kentucky broke 2,000,000 checks. The blue grass must smell of rotten corn.
Texas does not require call-ins if you have a CHL and I personally know some one very well that wasn’t called in on three times last year.
The only other states that broke a million last year was California and Illinois... Go figure...

I’ll bet it is going to drop in January. Every gunshop and pawn shop I have been to since the shooting has been almost empty. I have not seen a centerfire semi-automatic rifle anywhere.
