I was by my range/gunstore on Saturday ordering an ACC Element II 22LR/22WMR silencer and spotted a consignment AK 47 variant that was offered for sale at $1059....the rest of the shelves were completely bare of anything like it.
I asked they guy...it just came in...we talked and I remarked that’s a hefty price....he said this will be gone before noon.
Made me think a bit....I’ve got a few rifles I could ‘consign’ to them and get 3-4 times what I paid for thme. Trouble is that there aren’t any I could give up without a ‘tinge’ in the solar plexus, even if I got a ton of cash....
This does not mean that when the consfiscation order comes down, I won’t sell ‘some’ of them for 5-10 times what I paid for them.
