Christie knows that by trashing Republicans he will get more love from the leftist press.
***************************************
Isn’t Christie coming up for re-election in NJ, a blue State? Most of his actions since late October have been targeted at distancing himself from the GOP-e and spewing more of the Dem’s talking points. F him!

Just like he endorsed Obama now he endorses Pelosi.

To think I once defended this fat stinking traitor.

Why would Republicans want to help those 2 states? They can rot AFAIC.

As someone who lost his house to Sandy, I can think of lots of folks who would love it if you showed that attitude to our faces.

New York gives far more in funding to this country than it gets in order to help other less affluent states. In other words, we are not the takers. We are also the ones who sent tons of help to Katrina victims.

We are getting pretty sick and tired of carrying the water for others. Boehner and his ilk should be pushed out of power ASAP.

I am sorry for your loss. We were minimally affected by Sandy (thank goodness). We have given and will continue to give to an organization that directly helps Sandy victims.

That having been said, there is no way you can excuse Harry Reid in this mess. The Senate loaded up the bill with so much pork in it that it was really no longer a Sandy bill.

I support giving direct relief to Sandy and would support a bill that addresses that need alone.

I will not support the contiuned fiscal abortions the Senate spews forth.

Hope you and your family are doing well and have your immediate needs met. The nation *is* behind you.

I have very little use for Peter King anymore.

He is a PC chump.

“I, for one, would not be surprised if Chris Christie left the Republican Party to become a dem or independent.”

He won’t do that; he represents the English-speaking taxpayers of NJ, and will continue in that role for as long as he wants. As an employable straight white guy, he is the natural enemy of Dems; as an independent he would lose what Republican machine is in place in NJ.

He is a PC chump.

He's a little drama queen. He's just doing this to save his ass for the next election. If he was truthful, he would have admitted the bill was loaded with pork.

“Rebuilding individual’s homes/vacation homes that didn’t have insurance?”

I’m sure any home that wasn’t paid off had insurance on it (the mortgage-holder would insist); I think this might be more related to the damage to the infrastructure and businesses.

As a resident of north Jersey, I could care less about businesses that gouge paying customers four months of the year, then have their workers collect welfare and/or unemployment the remaining eight months (also paid for by the paying customers). A tourism economy is delicate...

Thank you and yes Reid is an ahole. The central point is that the overwhelming group in Congress has the worth of waste product. That said, the fact that Boehner was unreachable in the day leading up to the anticipated vote places him below all of them.

If he can’t lead, get him on the sidelines. Anyone who votes for him is dim.

“...then call it wishful thinking on my part.”

Not sure why; as northeastern Republicans go, Christie is fairly conservative. Rudy Giuliani was pro-gay, pro-abortion, running around with a girlfriend, etc.; Christie looks like a fascist next to that.

Oh my... who was comparing Christie to Rudy? Both are rinos. Both have positives, but still Rinos.

I predicted a party change for CC a week ago. The problem there is that he's be facing Cuomo in the DEM primaries and he doesn't want to do that.

what scares me is a possible Christie v Cuomo POTUS election in 4 years.

I remember what he did holding hearings on CAIR or a terrorist group or something like that.

The issue abt who he was going to call to the stand to testify heated up in the media and he caved.

Craven PC chump. Ptui!

Why doesn’t NJ have any money in reserve for these emergencies? Why was their infrastructure so lame? What did the do with the last batch of federal money?

I am sick of NJ.
