“A Montreal prosecutor told a Quebec court recently that holding a religious ceremony in a building not zoned as a place of worship, even if it is a private home, is illegal.”
I thought that only used to happen in communist Russia.
(Maybe they won the cold war after all?)
What were these people thinking? Everyone knows you can’t just pray anywhere you feel like it. The government has to tell you where you can pray to God and where you can’t. Otherwise somebody might decide to pray out in public where children might see and ask their parents “what is that man doing”. Then the parents would have to explain what praying is and why they don’t do it and who is this God person anyway.
Government is the religions of the psychopath.
Let’s see if they have the guts to fine taxicab drivers who pray in public parks to the R.O.P.
But, but , but , but, but the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms it says that Canadians have the right of Free Assembly and Freedom of Religion !
( so much for those rights....paha!)
Can someone remind me again why they fought the nazis?
This story is 3 years old and I didn’t find any updates. Are the any updates I missed? If she appealed we shouldn’t there be some more news by now?
Canada Ping!
