Militia members plotted to kill federal officials, prosecutors say
CNN Justice ^ | 12 November 2011

Federal agents charged four Georgia men they say are part of a fringe militia group with plotting to attack government officials with explosives and the biotoxin ricin, prosecutors in Atlanta announced Tuesday.

A government informant recorded the men discussing plans to manufacture ricin, a highly poisonous substance derived from castor beans, and attack Justice Department officials, federal judges and Internal Revenue Service agents, according to court papers released Tuesday afternoon. Prosecutors said the public was never in imminent danger. All four suspects were in custody and are scheduled to make their initial court appearances Wednesday in Gainesville, about 50 miles northeast of Atlanta, the U.S. attorney's office announced.

Posted the old story to ask these questions:

1. How many incidences have there been of radical or psychopathic killers specifically shooting a Federal official or officials (other than Postal workers shooting their coworkers)?

2. If not, why not?

3. How many incidences have there been of ideological nutcases or mentally ill persons attempting to shoot Federal officials other than a President or Governor?

4. If not, why not?

Other than the Oklahoma City bombing by Timothy McVeigh and friends, I can't think of very many cases. And, they used a bomb knowing they wouldn't be able to shoot very many of them. After the OK incident, could it be that most are heavily armed or have a lot of armed backup?

Could it be that the entrance to the facilities where these people work are guarded by well-trained, determined shooters? Could it be that the punishment for doing such is swift and precise through the courts? Tim was executed. Could it be that anyone affiliated with, related to or knowing the individuals who commit such acts are so thoroughly investigated afterwards that any such future commentary to the effect of doing such a thing is immediately reported? Could it be that the government and just about every other government of the world would chase the perp until the end of time? I don't know for sure...just asking.

More questions...

Why not follow through swiftly with execution for people who kill common people? Why do they get to live in prison for years and/or life? Is a Federal official's life is worth more than the life of the common man? If the the Federal official's life is worth more, isn't that unconstitutional? Or, why? Why can Federal officials (and the rich) put their children in schools with armed guards and everyone else can't? Is it because of their status or that they have more money? That's not fair. I thought politicians cared about the people and wanted all things equal. Are their children's lives of more value the the lives of our children? Why?

In any group of three or more anti-government activists, one of them is likely to be a government informant.

Spotting the informant is easy. He's the one who will be advocating performing an illegal act, and will be the one with access to know-how and materials.

Purely as an intellectual exercise, if you had to choose between twenty first-graders or twenty members of congress to be shot, which would you choose? Then why do we have an armed Capitol police force and schools are unarmed and defenseless?

Simple. One group is considered royalty and the other is not.

Simple. Government protects itself first, then the citizens who keep it in power. Sadly, it takes advantage of young people who are willing to give their lives to protect it. Such people will find out after their tour of duty is complete that government is not as loyal to them as it demanded they be to it.

This is not the country my father and mother both enlisted to serve.

The answer to your question is easily answered ~ back in the WWI era and following there were numerous attempts made by far leftwingtard nut cases to blow up postal facilities. A low level campaign of this sort had been going on since the 1890s, but after WWI it was amped up. This was a rather worldwide phenomenon ~ and mostly symbolic since virtually all such buildings were owned by governments!

Rather than outlaw anything that could be turned into a bomb smart cops and engineers worked together to determine what features could be designed into a building to make it unlikely it would be attacked by the crazies.

For the most part they succeeded. Excluding acts of war there have been few attacks on postal and other government buildings anywhere ~ inasmuch as EVERYONE adopted the new standards.

Still, there were events and the McVeigh event stands out ~ the Murrah Building was part of a land deal where the government ended up having a substandard sized lot for the building size, with an improperly laid out building, with the wrong structure, made of the wrong materials.

I don't think there was a single aspect of that building that met the government building standards adopted in the late 1920s and early 1930s!

McVeigh had a larger target across the street that he could have bombed, and where hundreds of people would have been killed ~ a major postal facility! He drove past it to park beside the Murrah Building where he attacked a day care center ~

The major features protecting post offices are simple ~ they are set back from the roads, protected by unobtrusive balustrade and grade varations, then there are blow out walls, and employees are located far to the interior and not in the support areas on the perimeter. Steel fences provide further protection, as do decorative brick walls, ginormous rocks, and, reinforced stairways at main entrances (for older multi-story buildings)

Senator John “I served in Viet-Nam” Kerry belonged/belongs to the VVAW, that group plotted to murder 19 US senators who supported the war in Viet-Nam, they ploted to kidnap a group of US Senators, and to blow up sevela bombs in DC. Two members were arrested with an exploding device in their car on their way to an VP Agnew speech.

IOW- VVAW was a terrorist organization.

Joe Biden’s got your answer. He knows some Congress critters he’d shoot now at the drop of a hat, but he also hates chillun’. He’s the guy who submitted the Free Fire Zone School bill to the U.S.Senate. He knew what would happen ~ and now this same brain damaged mad man is going to be in charge of the commission that investigates these things.

Simple recipe.

People all over this area plant it for the beautiful red flowers and giant leaves. DHS snitches report them all the time, and SP cars are visiting in the late summer/early fall.

Actually beans, when dried and pulverized, are highly-poisonous, but beans themselves are only mildly hallucinogenic.

Simple, because the government is trying to kill white culture and take all of defenses away.

Anyone remember the church burning of the civil rights movement? The same exact number of children were killed then, rounded up and murdered in their churches- where they felt safe.

In Germany- how did the socialists work? Rounded Jews up and burned them alive in their places of worship.

There is nothing new under the sun. We have been here before.

What is the status of the ricin case you cited? Has it gone to trial? Just curious. Seems like these “militia” cases often get major press at the lurid accusation stage, only to evaporate almost unnoticed when it turns out to be entrapment or no crime was actually committed.

Who among our elected elite will have the guts to stand up and say all that at Kerry's SOS confirmation hearings?

By passing unconstitutional laws, the government ensures the existence of a large number of civilian soft-target, while the institution of government continues to harden its defenses. In the minds of progressive politicians, they view themselves as the nobles and set themselves above the rest. Our civilization continues to degenerate toward the ancient ways of the king and his nobles versus the serfs. The serfs have too much property and too many rights and the nobles are going to take all. Your outline and questions you know the answer to, prove all of these points.

Eventually, we will need to accept the fact that 0bama’s ilegitimate, unconstitutional regime is OUR enemy. Yes, there will be 0bama
government informants, just as there were Stasi, KGB, and Gestapo.
It might not be the right time for violence just yet, but I believe that the time will come sooner than you think.
