1. I have a legal and moral obligation, having sworn an oath administered by this very government, to defend the Constitution as it is written.
2. I've put my life on the line in foreign countries, for people who had nothing in common with me and weren't my countrymen, in the name of freedom. What kind of man would I be to then turn away from my brothers and countrymen when their own freedom is challenged?
3. I've got nothing to lose. I would rather perish than serve a government master. If I die in that cause, I have served my countrymen instead. Win/win.
And now everyone knows why people die for their country. There really ARE things worse than death. God will be with us all.
Pretty primitive stuff in a way but it got our ancestors through the Dark Ages and drove the Saracens from Spain and Southeastern Europe.
They just don't hand out badges saying you have a title of nobility but that doesn't make the rights and privileges disappear.
The Democrats, running dog lackeys and fascist pigs that they are, have no idea what they face.
I would assume that every veteran on this forum would. That’s why we took our oath. It is also why the government disenfranchises our vote and tries to dilute our presence and atrength with things like DADT.
My post will anger many. It is meant to. It is also meant to wake us up and to keep us vigilant. The next 4 years will be a lot worse than the last 4 years. We saw what happened in Venezuela. We see what Europe looks like. We know who our enemies are within our own borders.
We have history on our side. My fear is those that say they share our morals and values are not really with us. (ie: RINOS)
