Welcome to the Divided States of Amerika, once a beacon of freedom and hope. Now just another third world country with a two-bit dictator and a people who care nothing about their liberties.
That’s a good point, he is very much like the dictators of old. He loves his power and he finds money to support it in exchange for cronyism. I don’t often get a chance to listen to Limbaugh, but the other day had him on and he was making a good point about the taxpayer relief act: that the wealthy who own the ASSETS in this country - and the rent that comes from them - were untouched by this legislation compared to high INCOME earners who like the rest of us income earners were hammered. Furthermore, that those who control ASSETS seek to tax income to keep income earners from acquiring assets.
I thought back to Roosevelt and Morganthau and their schemes to withhold taxes to pay for wars and their democratic coalition backers. And so it’s been ever since, government taking money from us so we cannot purchase rent-generating assets. A monopoly for the wealthy backed by divisive coalition politics aimed not to help the coalition members but to help the asset-owners (from wikipedia: “Franklin D. Roosevelt forged a coalition that included the Democratic state party organizations, city machines, labor unions and blue collar workers, minorities (racial, ethnic and religious), farmers, white Southerners, people on relief, and intellectuals. The coalition fell apart around the bitter factionalism during the 1968 election, but it remains the model that party activists seek to replicate.”
The “second whisperer” does nothing to advance nobama’s goal of being dicktator for life reigning over a turd world country where everybody depends on the government for their very lives (food, shelter, healthcare, etc.).
I suspect nobama spends so much time listening to the first whisperer that he’s not aware of the second.
It's the process require by nonconservatives to detach from their current idol in preparation for attachment to their new hero in 2016.
