Nancy Pelosi in November 2003 when the unemployment rate was 5.8, and would drop to 5.7 the following month:

Quit confusing us with facts. Don’t you know it’s the smoke and the mirrors which count?

If it was true. 7.8% is a big lie.
5% was considered really bad under Bush. I'm too tired for doublethink today.

If first amendment rights were to be distributed to only those capable of handling them, I would demand that POS be one of them denied.

Pelosi: Unemployment at 7.8% Shows Good Pace, Going in the Right DirectionSilliness from the the senile one reminds me of the joke about the old witch who jumped off a 50-story building.
As she passed the 43rd floor someone yelled out what were you thinking?
As she passed the 25th floor she replied, "So far so good!"

What an idiot. Bush’s worst day for unemployment was the same date as Obama’s best day...Inauguration Day 2009.

Won’t be long before those who are long term unemployed will run out of benefits and be taken off the rolls that determine the unemployment rate. Therefore the numbers will drop. Happy days are here again.
