Islamist Group Tries to Kill Use of “Islamist”

After doing everything it can to ensconce a new word, “Islamophobia,” into conversational English, the nation's most visible Islamist group is trying to stop use of a well-established word: Islamist. Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) national spokesman Ibrahim Hooper released a column urging journalists to “(d)rop the term ‘Islamist.’”

It was added to the latest Associated Press Stylebook—the guide for spelling, punctuation and other rules—that is used by journalists at the smallest community papers and the largest television networks, Hooper wrote. AP defines Islamists as “Those who view the Quran as a political model encompass a wide range of Muslims, from mainstream politicians to militants known as jihadi.”

Journalists should ignore that, Hooper argued, because it is used in a negative way, and used by “Islam-bashers” who really hate the faith of Islam but want to cover their tracks. “Yet they fail to explain how a practicing Muslim can be active in the political arena without attracting the label ‘Islamist.’” …

and Obama WILL find a way to write it into law, as he already has in several areas.

If you are familiar with Obama and his construction of his North African caliphate and backing of the Muslim Brotherhood, you can see that he is aligning the whole mid east as proxies for his attack on Israel. And needless to say as you did earlier, a lot can be said about the disaster that has hit the US of A. America has basically been lost for now unless we help one another stand it up again. As the video Agenda: Grinding America down points out that once the US of A is gone, it will be a long, long time before those liberties, rights freedoms and beliefs surface again. By letting Obama continue unchallenged, he is leading the civilized world into his caverns of Islam. I believe that before he is done, he will have allowed his brethren to have many large scale attacks on American soil.

If the Society of Professional "Journalists" has not already submitted they soon will.

On Oct. 6, 2001 at its National Convention in Seattle, the Society of Professional Journalists passed a resolution urging members and fellow journalists to take steps against racial profiling in their coverage of the war on terrorism . . . .

"When writing about terrorism, remember to include white supremacist, radical anti-abortionists and other groups with a history of such activity."

Back then the "journalists" even said use the word Islamist; "[avoid words like] 'Muslim extremist' that are misleading because they link whole religions to criminal activity. Be specific: Alternate choices, depending on context, include 'Al Qaeda terrorists' or, to describe the broad range of groups involved in Islamic politics, 'political Islamists'."

Most employees of the MSM are skid marks on Journalism's shorts and they will never ask CAIR: If the words ISLAMISM, ISLAMISTS are so offensive to Muslims how come millions of Muslims in Turkey use the words to protest Islamism and sharia law? Tens of millions do not want either.
