BANK OF AMERICA Freezes Gun Manufacturer's Account...

Bank of America has reportedly frozen the account of gun manufacturer American Spirit Arms, according to its owner, Joe Sirochman.

In a Facebook post dated December 29, Sirochman wrote the following:

“My name is Joe Sirochman owner of American Spirit Arms...our Web site orders have jumped 500 percent causing our Web site e-commerce processing larger deposits to Bank of America. So they decided to hold the deposits for further review.

“After countless hours on the phone with Bank of America, I finally got a manager in the right department that told me the reason that the deposits were on hold for further review -- her exact words were -- ‘We believe you should not be selling guns and parts on the Internet.’”(emphasis added)

Sirochman also wrote that he told the bank manager that “they have no right to make up their own new rules and regs” and that “[American Spirit is a] firearms manufacturer with all the proper licensing.”

He also noted that he has been doing business with Bank of America for over 10 years, but will now be looking for a new bank.

According to Unlawful News, this isn't the first time Bank of America has targeted a customer involved in the firearms industry.

McMillan Group International was reportedly told that its business was no longer welcome after the company started manufacturing firearms – even after 12 years of doing business with the bank.

will now be looking for a new bank

Will be? I'd have pulled out every dime that wasn't covering recent transactions and orders and moved it within the hour. When will people learn not to use BoA and Wells Fargo?

I had to have an account with bank of america once for a car loan. After about 6 months of their crap I refinanced with another bank. Trust me the door did not hit me in the back side as I left and I WILL NEVER darken their doors again.

Why does anyone want to do business with BOA? This same banking congomerlant refused to allow our flag on one of their branch bank sites a year or so ago. Their name is a misnomer. They do not respect our constitution.

I dumped BOFA years ago, when it came to light they would accept the Matricula Consular ID card from Mexico.

Been with a local credit union, with great satisfaction.

Talk about an injustice and robbery. Please get an attorney. What a crazy person at the bank/and management which they have a history of this. I am very thankful of not ever having to dealt with these crooks over my life. Bank of anti- America.

If you notice, many of the people bitching about blogs and blog posters as news sources will also take news from the MSM as the word of God.

Since I don;’t have a blog or write for anyone else, the wannabe blog cop thing does not impact me personally, but I find it rather funny to watch them commit act after act of hypocrisy and never once get a clue.

Blog BAAADDDD. MSM Trusted news source.

Right.

Soo...the bankrupt bank who likes illegal aliens and drug-dealers does NOT like gun owners, huh?

I’ll remember that.

Closed my accounts with them years ago. Nice people in the local branch but too may a**holes at the top! Worst bank in America even with pretty fierce competition.

It would be interesting if you could show any positive comment about the MSM from those blog cops.

That would really shore up your position.

Passing up the MSM crap sandwich in favor of the
Blogs-of-recycled-rotting-roadkill is hardly an improvement.

What is wrong. Why don’t you let the others play and allow the owner of this site to say who gets to post or not and allow the forum to visit links they decide to or not. You are missing the entire story of how the bank is taking control of the manufacturer’s/company funds/his money/his profits.

I’m sorry, but can I see a badge? I mean how do I really know you have any authority other than just whine like a nerd stuffed in a gym locker?

I don’t mean to ‘imply’ you are a nerd stuffed in a gym locker. I just wonder if you do this all on your own or if you have some heretofor unknown authority.

See, it’s because I see posts from many of the sources you badger people about all the time and figure if management did not want them posted, they would be pulled and banned.

But since I have read stories from the same people you bitch about for a long time now, I have to think you’re just trying to attract attention to yourself.

“It would be interesting if you could show any positive comment about the MSM from those blog cops.”

What, like all the MSM talking points spewed during one of your “Sarah is an ikky girl” tantrums?

Hey, I didn’t want to bring her up, but you asked.

I’m sorry, but can I see a badge?

Do you call the cops when someone cuts in line?

Or maybe do you have the wherewithal to handle it by yourself?

Blogpimping is bad behavior and it doesn't take a badge to spot it or address it.

In what way is your objecting to my posts any different from my objecting to blogpimping?
