BANK OF AMERICA Freezes Gun Manufacturer's Account...

Bank of America has reportedly frozen the account of gun manufacturer American Spirit Arms, according to its owner, Joe Sirochman.

In a Facebook post dated December 29, Sirochman wrote the following:

“My name is Joe Sirochman owner of American Spirit Arms...our Web site orders have jumped 500 percent causing our Web site e-commerce processing larger deposits to Bank of America. So they decided to hold the deposits for further review.

“After countless hours on the phone with Bank of America, I finally got a manager in the right department that told me the reason that the deposits were on hold for further review -- her exact words were -- ‘We believe you should not be selling guns and parts on the Internet.’”(emphasis added)

Sirochman also wrote that he told the bank manager that “they have no right to make up their own new rules and regs” and that “[American Spirit is a] firearms manufacturer with all the proper licensing.”

He also noted that he has been doing business with Bank of America for over 10 years, but will now be looking for a new bank.

According to Unlawful News, this isn't the first time Bank of America has targeted a customer involved in the firearms industry.

McMillan Group International was reportedly told that its business was no longer welcome after the company started manufacturing firearms – even after 12 years of doing business with the bank.

Then roll in your own crap.

You go dig it out of the septic system and we'll think about it.

As always, you made a fool of yourself.

Yeah, I'm a fool because you can't justify this non-participating pimp advertising his crap here.

Cheers and good evening to you.

Yea I’m aware they are buddies. What’s your point?

You have posters posting items with the apparent approval of management as they are not pulled, and Gunner stirring crap with his blog cop routine.

Now which is it?

I am quite sure if Jim has a problem he does not need the PDA patrol to solve it for him.

Forgot to ping you to post 60.

On that uniform - could I have a pink one or does it have to be camouflage?

Maybe you should ask Jim if Gunner ever calls the shots.

Not really, but I AM the master of ordering breakfast.

Two eggs, bacon, hash browns, biscuits and white gravy on the side. Black coffee and thank-you-very-much.

The point is, perhaps Jim will explain the duty or not, he gives to Gunner. Or, perhaps, it is none of your business.

Well if that;s the case why did he just say a few posts back he has no such authority?

And why pray tell would I or anyone else listen to anything he ordered me to do without the faintest idea he had authority to ‘enforce’ the law’?

And why is it that none of Serpico’s busts never get taken down?

If JR wants him to be a blog cop, telling us might avoid all these blow ups every other day.

I think that CNSNews is a legitimate news outfit, not a blog.

Did you know that they are owned by the Media Research Center, headed by Brent Bozell?

Did you know that their Editer-in-Chief is Terry Jeffrey, the longtime editor of Human Events and op-ed writer for The Washington Times?

Did you know that their sister site is Newsbusters.com? Do you post on the Newsbuster posts, too?

Does any of this matter to you?

If it's sanctioned by management that he can disrupt every Palin thread in the first few posts and that he can disrupt conservative threads that are posted in full, then so be it.

JimRob's house, his rules.

Seem to remember that he was told to stay off Palin threads by management, several times, but that didn't take too well.

Humblegunner has no special authority on FR. His posts are his own opinion (just like everyone else).

By the way, CNSNews.com is ok in my book.

Yup, Jims house, Jims rules. I’ll be happy to follow them . But I kinda doubt that Gunner is a secret super undercover agent.

But if he is, we can’t very well be faulted for telling Gunner to pound salt when we don’t know that.

And I don’t imagine it would help anyone.

Hmm, Humblegunner “ordered” you to do something? The way I thought this worked, is, you are behind your computer somewhere in the US or other country, and Humblegunner is in Texas so there is no way he could order you to do something and you have to do it.

Unless there are subliminal messages going between the two of you, I think you are a free person empowered to do your own thing which you have been doing here post after post in a snit because of a post from Humblegunner about this blog pimp who is a blog pimp. This person posts and gives no feedback, time after time. His/her post is an “AD”, not a serious give and take post.

The law is not in of the question.

The issue is the bank has done things as this before. It's a pattern. The bank deserves criticism. What part of that is hard to get a grip on.

That is why our forefathers never wanted the government involved in private business, the government then can pick the winners or the losers! Bank of America = Government! Every American needs to pull their money out of Bank of America and stop doing any kind of business with BOA!

End of problem!

What? The bank does this for protection!

Every bank in the US does this because it is REQUIRED! Hello, what part of the bank following the law don't you understand?
