Ford sold 167 of the Electric Focus model in Dec. 2012. Not good but they haven’t been pushing them either. I think the plug in hybrid will be a success. Not sure about the pure electric car unless they can increase range and lower costs. Go test drive a Leaf. You might end up leasing one. Don’t worry about high pressure salespeople. They are not pushing them much. Maybe because there is no routine maintenance required that the dealership could profit from.
