In the end, it wasn't even close. Alabama blew out Notre Dame 42-14 and Nick Saban has now won three national titles in four years.

It was a beautiful thing--not as close as the score indicates. The only thing to mar the experience was Brent Musberger slurping and sucking at the ND trough half the night, until he had to quit or be exposed to ridicule.

I think Alabama-A&M could now be the best rivalry in football, the Bear connection, and this year’s game now make this the biggest game of the year.

Poor UT. Nobody cares about them now, but hey, they’ve still got The Longhorn Network.
