Tressel was 1-2 in the National Championship Game at Ohio State, and at Youngstown State (Div 1-AA) his record was 4-3. He was also voted national coach of the year 4 times at Youngstown State, and was also Athletic Director as well concurrently. The NC Game is National Championship.... At the time Tressel left College Football he was second only to Joe Pa in active coaching wins. While he was fired for a scandal, his accomplishments rank him at the top all time. Google it.
After that beating I bet they wish they didn’t make the title game at all.
Oh why did Oregon have to lose to Stanford? The SEC will never lose.

If you take the college teams that regularly visit the top ten and look at the schedules, you will find only 3-4 losable games. In the NFL, almost every week is a losable game due to parity.
In the college game, a winning team means better recruits.
In the NFL, a winning team means bad draft choices and a tougher schedule next year.
In the last 30 years, I think maybe 10 QB’s have 20 out of the 30 championships. In the NFL. the QB is almost as important as the coach.

The ND coach is using it as a springboard to the NFL.
It was a terrible blow when Saban left Michigan State. But Kelley’s amazing, he’s recreated and revitalized the programs at four different colleges/u’s, and brought Notre Dame around fast. What a turnaround. Anyway, I guess congratulations are in order? :’)
Brian Kelly’s forte seems to be motivating his players by screaming and cursing at them. That may not work so well with grown men.
