Fox’s The Five Retaliates Against Gawker’s Gun Owner List By Showing Site Founder’s Phone Number

In response to Gawker’s controversial decision to publish the names of every registered handgun owner in New York City on Tuesday afternoon, Fox’s The Five retaliated by publishing the phone number and email address of Gawker founder Nick Denton for its audience.

“Those stupid wimps,” co-host Greg Gutfeld said after explaining how Gawker published the list and linked the NYPD to rape and corruption; yet when they received death threats poured in, they called the cops.

The Gawker post, originally titled “Here Is a List of All the A****les Who Own Guns in New York City,” sparked outrage as it published a list of every NYC resident with a handgun permit — publicly-available information obtained by John Cook via the Freedom of Information Act. It was a similar move to the Journal News‘ controversial decision to publish the names and addresses of licensed gun owners in New York’s Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam counties.

Eric Bolling added: “Gawker called people crazy a-holes who own guns legally in New York City. We thought we’d point out who runs Gawker, the founder of Gawker, Nick Denton. Greg, you may know him as well.”

The leftwingtards are saying those items are currently posted on Gawker's website anyway. What we need would be the numbers that aren't posted there, plus a rough schedule of his normal movements during the day ~ and maybe a map of his alternate routes.

That'd be the thing ~ case the guy and let the public know what he's really up to.

So tell me again why the rest of America should roll over for gun registration?

So a nation-wide map can be published? Interactive, by state, then by county, then by town?

No, thanks.

Is he married? Does he have children? What are their names? Where do they go to school? Where was he reared? What did his parents do? Are they still alive and what are their names? These hypocritical folks need to be exposed to the world for what they are...slime.

Such a map would not be near as dangerous to our rights as the ones the government already has. Anyone who thinks the FBI has deleted all records of those who had to be "background checked" when purchasing weapons is dreaming.

How considerate of Nick Denton. Now burglars casing out their next target can check to see if their intended victim has a permit—and change their plans accordingly. I’m sure criminals appreciate the research aid.

Sure would like to see one of these outfits list the names and addresses of criminals who have guns. It’s much safer to mess with the law-abiding.
