AN ACT CONCERNING RESTRICTIONS ON GUN USE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to establish a class C felony offense, except for certain military and law enforcement personnel and certain gun clubs, for (1) any person or organization to purchase, sell, donate, transport, possess or use any gun except one made to fire a single round, (2) any person to fire a gun containing more than a single round, (3) any person or organization to receive from another state, territory or country a gun made to fire multiple rounds, or (4) any person or organization to purchase, sell, donate or possess a magazine or clip capable of holding more than one round.

Statement of Purpose:

To reduce the use of guns for criminal purposes.

I received a notice about this bill in an e-mail. This guy Meyer is truly evil. I am surprised he didn't picked to take over the EPA because he's an expert at using the state's DEEP to destroy people and businesses.

Just an odd question...but could you even manufacture a magazine clip for only one round? Seems like the clip would end up costing more than the bullet itself. I can just see some guy with a bear approaching....fires off a round at 300 feet and misses....then is messing around with removing the clip...trying to reload it...shoving it back in...and the bullet jamming on the second shot just as the bear takes you down.

We’d likely have a 1000 percent increase in death-by-bear over a one year period, and be unable to explain why until CNN analysts did experiments to explain the whole thing in a sixteen minute segment.

Great. More bright ideas from those who want to disarm the American people. Given that any gun control will NOT stop a future atrocity involving a mad man intending to do evil, why do these want to disarm the American people?

A few questions I want to ask the next disarming advocate I run into;
-Are they sympathetic to the Communists and Marxists who disarmed their people?
-Do they hate the American people and gun owners?
-Can they not tolerate alternative lifestyles and personal cultural beliefs?
-Since it is clear that there is intent to eventually ban even single shot guns, why not be honest with the world and just ban ALL guns?

While he’s at it, why doesn’t he make a rule that all guns will have “screw in threaded ammunition” that requires a box end wrench to install in the chamber.

In that manner, the long period of time (and cuss words while installing the cartridge) will make the shooter think about what he is shooting and the legal ramifications of what happens if he does shoot something.

Better yet, it will make it far easier for a criminal who does not obey any laws to kill him, rob him or maim him.

That would really help the “self-esteem” of all criminals.
