An administrative worker at Connecticut’s coroner’s office has been placed on paid leave after allegedly allowing her husband to view the body of Newtown gunman Adam Lanza.
Jean Henry, a processing technician at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, could face disciplinary action after the investigation is complete, the Hartford Courant reported. She was still on leave Thursday, sources said.
Henry is accused of allowing her husband, who is not a state employee, to enter a refrigerated autopsy room where Lanza’s body was awaiting a post mortem on Dec. 16. The only people allowed in the autopsy area are authorized staff and some law enforcement personnel, the Courant reported.
During the macabre viewing, Henry unzipped the bag so her husband could look at Lanza, who shot dead 26 people at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dec. 14. The couple “openly” went in and out of the refrigerated room and at least one other employee was aware of what was happening, sources told the newspaper.

Her story isn't that elaborate or that long to be beyond credibility, particularly since it is easily verifiable by the forensic evidence, including the blood on the clothes that she was wearing that day.
I'll check it out.
IF an intruder tries to breach our "compound", they will have to pass through ADT, canine barking/attack, and various "weaponry", etc. (i.e. skillet, baseball bat, etc.).
IF they are insistent on coming in I will get "Black's Law Dictionary" to hit them over the head. Lawyering is often an "assault" weapon.

Is there any video of the guy running into/out of the woods? I ask because some media, again getting details wrong on day one, identified him incorrectly as Lanza’s brother. If they could screw up on a detail that big, I wouldn’t put much stock in the “woods” story.

The source is named, Rev. Jim Solomon of New Hope Community Church, Newtown, CT. The fact that the survivor's is being left out of media reports is because most news media have protocols that they do not identify the names of juvenile crime victims without permission. Some states have laws regarding this as well.
IMO you’ve already been plenty generous with your time and keystrokes and JR’s bandwith dealing with these questions.

A six year old would not come out of that situation saying Mommy I’m ok, but all my classmates are dead. It’s ridiculous.

Oh come on already.... if it were true she’d be on every talk show in the nation. Besides... as uncle chip says we should be able to find out who she is by the process of elimination. So get your stories straight.

It is not a ridiculous thing for a child to say.
For one thing she was very likely being repeatedly asked if she was hurt or okay, so responding to that is very normal. A six year old is very capable of understanding death, particularly a churched one who has had the death and resurrection of Christ explained to them repeatedly, so stating that her friends are dead, a factual statement of the reality just experienced is not ridiculous.
The fact that the child is not all over the media indicates that she doesn’t have stupid parents that worship at the altar of fame and celebrity.
