That’s a forty minute drive from my place, but I might just have to try out a lane when they open.
Gotta love Texas.
My home town, and I’m sure they will do great. Lot’s of people ready to use the facility around here.
Praytell,
I’m very close by Frisco too :)
“God bless Texas” indeed!
“Frisco gun club indoor range being built. Over 40 lanes. Over 40,000 square feet being built.”
Is this heaven?
I would LOVE to hear Al JaGore’s recommendations to little bammy regarding this.
NA-NA-NA-NA-NAAAAAA-NAAAA...
Our range is bigger that YOUR range...
.
Oops, make that Robinette “Birdbrain” Biden.
Who cleans up all the lead from those bullets?
They make a killing in brass resale......the lead is just an added benefit.....
Heaven on earth. Still rather have the rapture and see the real thing.
Maybe I will have the pleasure of meeting a fellow freeper one day.
I drive right by there when we go to my daughter’s house. Might have to check it out.
It's about 10 minutes from my house so, no it's not... but it's a close second. I know I'll be there when it opens up...
Frisco Gun Club is a planned 43,000 square foot facility which includes:
In December 2012, construction begins on 4.3 acres on the southeast corner of El Dorado and Research Road in Frisco, Texas.
Facility opening is scheduled for Summer 2013.
(maybe precisely because of that proximity)

This is a great range and superstore gun center. And a massive inventory of every gun imagineable.
“And within spittin’ distance of Austin “
Just a touch farther than Pittsburgh to Harrisburg, PA. A bit more than 200 miles. About 3.5 hours.
Was thinking Frisco was just a bit north of Austin. :-\
Spent a few months working in the Austin area about ten years back .. in hindsight I shoulda stayed in Texas !
Heat took some gettin' used to, but it really IS a whole 'nother country.
