I wasn’t about to put my name and address to a petition at a government website where they would know who I am and my true feelings about them. But I do support secession for Texas. The problem is that so many Yankees have moved here in the past 10 years in search of the jobs they couldn’t get back home, I suspect any vote to secede would fail.
Why would a state need obama’s permission to secede? If he has that power why not start a position to do away with income tax? Or the democrats could start a petition to eliminate the army. he’d probably “approve” that petition.
It really is self-evident, isn’t it? I don’t recall hearing the notion of secession raised once in my entire live until we put this communist in the WH. Maybe it was raised under FDR in the 30s, but I suspect there was living memory of the CW at the time and it wasn’t raised as a serious alternative. What a shame one man can so tear the country apart philosophically that people are actually talking about breaking the country apart physically.

If we are going to have unity, it needs to start in the White House and be based on our traditional and historic values, NOT on some mirage of Marxist promised utopia that will never come to pass.

Unity is achieved for 48% of Americans. All patriotic citizens are unified in our disgust whenever Obama violates our Constitution and our God-given human rights. The 51% who are parasitic takers are also unified, but in wanting us disarmed so it will be easier for the power of government to take what we produce and redistribute it to those who choose not to be productive.

Actually there is a healthy contingent of brownshirt wannabe’s on this forum that would love to put torch to our nation.
