The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service ... has proposed designating 1.7 million acres in southwest Colorado and southeast Utah as critical habitat for the bird ... The designation sometimes, but not always, means restrictions on human activities on that land.

The public and the scientific community have until March 12 to comment before the agency makes a final decision on whether to list the Gunnison sage grouse as endangered.

Must be rough for those birds to live on top of all that oil and natural gas.

Sage Grouse may turn into the son of spotted owl .

If the UN Agenda 21 eco nuts can force Sage-Grouse as an endangered species - then it will hit over 10 western states

The Federal government could seize every square foot of land in America if they chose to use ‘protecting a critter’ as their excuse.

BS. It ALWAYS means restriction on human activities. Its like saying that banning skiing only effects a few people during the winter months.

You’re correct. This sage grouse listing could turn into a much bigger fiasco than the spotted owl. Very sad.

Looks like the FedGov (or at least the Democrats) have declared war on Utah.

Shame they can’t find some ‘endangered’ critter in Central Park....

What a coincidence that the birds are in the same area as a really really big energy source.

The feral government is just setting it aside for the oligarchy to put to worthy use after the fundamental change is complete.

Next up? The endangered House Sparrow, pigeon, field mouse, and house fly.

All 50 states must be abandoned immediately. The first ships leave for Africa tomorrow at 8 am.

What ever filters the posts on this forum... it causes a very long delay between what is submitted and what is posted. Because of that delay, second submitions of the same post occurs. Thus double posts. Why such a long delay?
