Django.WhiteHut.gov Petition to outlaw guns around pResident needs 5,765 more signatures

If gun-free zones make people safe, then why don’t we declare the immediate vicinity of the President and Vice-President to be gun-free zones and send the Secret Service home? Or are gun-free zones good enough for our kids, but not good enough for our overlords? It is the height of arrogance and hypocrisy for politicians to surround themselves with armed guards while insisting that our children be soft targets.

There are 10 more days to get the required number of signatures on the petition

The petition illustrates the absurdity of gun-free zones.

Rush always talks about of illustrating absurdity by being absurd, and that's all this is.

The Alinskyites are killing us with Rules for Radicals #12, right now:

RULE 12: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

How do we fight back?

Be being nice?

And "holding ourselves to a higher standard" is just the flip side of Rule 4:

RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.

I’ve been offline for two days. Nice to return and see a two thousand signature increase.

Might be I’m being told something, too! LOL!

I am all for it but will not go to the government web site to sign. I fear these bastards. I will fight them but still fear them.

Do what you want, but if you’re on the Internet or a phone they’re recording and mining everything you do anyway.

Hey, they responded to the Death Star petition.

I’m sure you’ll get a response that is equally useful.

Actually, if this manages to get to 25,000 signatures, they will just add it to the list of gun petitions, for which they have already responded. There are dozens of gun petitions listed together with the White House response, which is their call for more gun control laws.

That is why this effort is a joke, and a waste of time. But everybody has the right to waste their time.

It's not a joke if Drudge picks it up, which I have been working on.

We need to use Rules for Radicals AGAINST him. God knows he's used them against us.

Rule #5: "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon."

It is a joke, even if Drudge references it, in which case it will be a well-publicized joke.

There was already a petition which actually called for an end to gun-free zones, it got more than 25,000 signatures (much easier to get signatures for something you WANT, than it is to get signatures for a joke that is the opposite of what you want).

That gun petition was “responded to” by the white house, with the others, with their press release calling for new gun laws.

So if you managed to get 6,000 more people to waste their time and to sign their names to something they would never actually support, AND you get it publicized, all you will do is re-publicize the White House press release calling for gun control.

Which is why this is a joke.

There is a serious discussion to be held, and this petition does nothing to advance that discussion.

Get seriously discussing, then.

I'm sure the whole world will anxiously hang onto your every word.
