A good start would be to impeach every elected official that attempts to grab gun.

There are few people I actually can say I hate. Communists, anarchists, and gun grabbers top the list.

Pass another restrictive gun law and then reach for the white courtesy phone at the entrance to Fort Sumter you morons.

Yeah, an Executive Order is the only real threat (IMO), but the fact the O is willing to do anything he pleases leaves that as a plenty scary option.

I don’t believe you can get people to not use the word assault rifle.

But you may be able to change the functional definition.

Sort of like the word axe. An axe could be and has been used to chop people into pieces but you think of chopping wood for winter or a fireman’s axe when the word is used.

If we used the word assault rifle but tied it at the same time to some emergency stopping job the rifle may be more universally accepted.

The assault rifle could be used to stop gang sexual assaults, or stop violent anarchy based assaults on business, or stop assaults on homes, businesses, or people by rioters/looters in times of emergencies. Or assaults on the constitution by tyrannical politicians.(my personal fav)

That way whenever the left mentions assault rifles the public visualizes stopping some horrendous thing about to happen to them.

nEvER underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers. Don’t let up or it will end up just like the election (though I think it was rigged after seeing that one of 0’ s associatez owns a company that builds electronic voting machines)

And on Tuesday Vice President Joe Biden is expected to give Obama a comprehensive package of recommendations for curbing gun violence.

One suspects uber deceit here, and one further suspects that Mister Biden received the essential framework of said "comprehensive package" from Mister Obama (and his "advisers") many weeks ago.

The Dem’s tried to rush this issue to see if they could capitalize on the anguish of the moment. They wanted to push for more reduction of freedom than they have ever pushed for before. Each passing minute reduced the Dem’s power and they knew it—they are likely to get much less than they had dreamed. But, if they wait till 2014, the situation in Congress could shift to their advantage.

However, they have already achieved a lot. They quickly put the NRA in the spotlight acting as if the crime had some sort of relationship to the entirely innocent NRA, and making attacks on the NRA that couldn’t have been worse if the killer was an NRA member following NRA recommendations. They shifted attention away from the causes and prevention of the evil crime to an intense attack on their political opponents, especially the powerful NRA and the large portion of American society that owns guns. They motivated local and state politicians to tout and pursue radical anti-freedom legislation and policies.

Americans are being offered nothing but a diminution of freedom in this current effort. It takes a lot of chicanery to pull that wool over American eyes.

The elections of 2014 will be important to American’s remaining and waning freedoms. Unfortunately, opposition to Dem candidates has been severely weakened in recent weeks. Organized political action must take place now and must be forceful if even greater disaster is to be avoided in 2014.
These Dem’s are a great danger to freedom and hope for future Americans. Their threat must be realized and must not be underestimated.

“Pro Choice on Firearms” would make a good bumper sticker.

Along with - “If you don’t support assault weapons - don’t buy one”

We should throw the trite rhetoric of the Left back in their faces.

Don’t depend on the NRA alone.
Email your Congressman and Senators.

"There are likely 10,000,000 (at least) Democrat voters today that will jump to the Republican side if they see their gun rights going away"

If you want a good example, visit the DUmmies & check out their threads when its 20 DUmmies average ganging up on one or two pro-gun-rights libtards.
Funny how libtards call pro 2nd amendment members in their midst 'single-issue voters' (lol!) and the only arguement they can make is 'quit regurgitating NRA talking points'
All the while unable to counter any of the point mentioned...

“The surest evidence of that was the Executive Order garbage coming out of Biden last week. That convinced me that their hopes in Congress had died.”

That was my thought on this, too. Initially, we heard an awful lot about Feinstein’s bill that she would be presenting “first thing” in the new session. When that didn’t happen and they began to focus more media attention on Biden’s fact finding mission, I knew they realized at some point that the legislative route to making changes was not realistic.

DITTO. Made two strategic gambles on guns. Figured Romney will win, but he lost, gun prices went up and after Newtown semi are all sold out. Now hoping gun law will not pass and get relief on shortage and prices. I think Obama will use EO to limit mag size and mandatory background check for all gun sales. But all gunowners should not let this incident pass and use it to throw all Dems out of the Senate in 2014. When Dems take a hit at the election, it forces them to rethink gun control as an issue like 1994. It is time again to teach them a lesson again! WV are you listening??!!!! GOP do not counter act the effects of gunowner anger (which inludes blue collar Dems) with pro globalist, free trade, more foreign wars, Wall Street are angels BS. Main Street will deal with those unAmerican BS another time, in the short run we want to deal with the Dems on gun control.

The above statement of Sen. Joe Munchkin (D. W.Va) is typical D.C. shinola illustrating beautifully the art of being on both sides of the yellow brick road at the same time.

This mental midget is always good for comic relief.

Look at the prices and bids on bolt carrier groups for AR-15s at ebay, then you’ll know more about what’s going on (most “buy it now” prices around $500 and most bidding going there, too).

Looks like quite a few political folks really stocked up on those to make money. Some of the same people are probably shouting at discussion boards that one or two politicians are going to pass gun control as dictators, despite what Congress will really do.

It’s all very interesting to watch, especially from the point of view of one who buys low and sells high. It’s against my religion to scalp anyone by participating in fads and scares, though (no parts for sale here).

If an assault weapon ban is passed this year a firearm ban will be passed within the next 5 years, probably sooner

oh my guess would be before November 2016...
