Oh those racist Republicans. Did you know that they're hostile to Colin Powell because he's black? Yup, just ask former Obama car czar Steve Rattner. The Morning Joe regular today claimed that poor Powell "feels this hostility toward him from the rest of the party in part because he's a minority."
Really? Colin Powell feels hostility from "the rest of the party" because he's a minority? The Colin Powell for whom so many in the GOP were clamoring to run for president in 1995-96? The Powell who actually won the 1996 New Hampshire primary—as a write-in!—after he had withdrawn his name from consideration? That Colin Powell? Please.

Walter Williams, who also shares the irrelevant characteristic of being black, generates no such ire. Or, if you’d like an actual politician, the same applies to Allen West.
I think that at long last we’re about at the point where the Dems and the Dem-fellating media have cried, “wolf!” too many times to be believed. Calling someone a racist is now about as effective, through overuse, as calling someone a Nazi.
When are these people ever going to grow up and debate an issue on the FACTS, rather than a host of irrelevant factors?

This is such unadulterated bs, and the fact that the GOP lets this kind of crap stand without indignation and a very strong response is a big problem. The fact is that it is the Democrat party that constantly reminds minorities of ‘their place’ in society. Their ‘place’, according to Democrats, is as lap dogs for that party. If there is any remaining doubt of this, just look at the way conservative minorities are treated by liberals. This point needs to be made very strongly.

Don’t give a rat’s a$$ cuz he’s a retired general either. I can appreciate anyone serving in the military but it doesn’t make them an automatic person to follow or listen to when they’re out of uniform. God did give us a brain for a reason!
For that to be true, Powell would still have to be a Republican and he clearly isn't.
