Nearly three thousand U.S. college students went online in the search for a 'sugar daddy' to fund their education last year.

Georgia State University and New york University were the top two schools for female students to seek out men willing to fund their tuition, with Pennsylvania's Temple University following closely behind for third place.

According to the website SeekingArrangement.com, 2012 saw a 58per cent growth in female students signing up to be 'sugar babies,' which the site describes as 'attractive, intelligent, ambitious and goal oriented' women seeking 'financial pampering.'

Okay, so how does a 58% increase translate into a ‘doubling’?

LOL!

One of the home shopping shows, presents 3 homes intended to fulfill a particular couple’s desires.

Typical scenario:

Wife or girlfriend picks the one that’s over budget.....but needs considerable renovation to meet her standards.

Note: She will refer to wall demolishing renovations as “decorating”...

It doesn’t end with tuition folks!

I wonder if this is a variant to Obama’s elimination of student loans.

I Googled one of my childhood chums only to find him on one of these sites lol. His “profile” tried to make him look discreet, yet he uses the same Daddy screen name as his Twitter, etc. handle and the pic was definitely him. Married, of course.

I met a man ten years or so ago, he had done well in the tech business, this guy was a friend of a friend. Mid 30s, mild mannered and not terribly good looking at all. Very nice mind you but not a good looking guy.

Very wealthy from a company he founded and sold.

We were in an upscale club in Boston one night and one of the cocktail waitresses keep talking to him over and over again. The next day a few of us grabbed breakfast and I mentioned the attractive waitress giving him so much attention.

After a little kidding around with him he said she had gotten to know him at the club and eventually approached him about the role of Sugar Daddy. She was trying to put herself through school and was willing to trade.

I was so blown away -I’d never heard of such a thing and mentioned this to him. He said it happens a lot to him. Seemed to depress him to no end.

The sugar-daddy won’t need to cover birth control, that’s almost as good as the spay and neuter assistance program. perhaps they should just call the website SPCA$- ____________ paying for college with azz.

It used to be called prostitution.

Not much different in essence from the same trade that happens in exchange of a dance at the prom and a dinner at Red Lobster, with most girls today. In comparison, the "sugar babies" are making a smarter transaction. LOL.

The above list would be more helpful and informative if it also showed what the tuition is at the school. Just giving it a quick glance, some of the school aren’t terribly expensive (relative to the more outrageous schools).
