There are a couple of states where the legislators are considering making it a felony for Federal agents to enforce gun laws. I have an additional suggestion. How about declaring those states SANCTUARY STATES for people who are facing arrest and prosecution for violations of Federal gun laws, where there was otherwise no underlying crime or act of violence.

I also wonder, if some States declared themselves as "sanctuary states" for people who are being prosecuted for unjust Federal Laws, if the progressive churches and Amnesty International will get on board.

Is that what passes for academic research these days? They didn't test a jury, they sampled an opinion panel. If the reporting is correct, there was no presentation of a defense, no pretense of an actual trial. They did the equivalent of a FR "guilty or not guilty" thread.

A statistical analysis of prior trial outcomes with all or high percentage male juries and a BMI scoring of the defendant would carry more weight. :)
