Just like humans, some dogs are lovers of the snow; some are decidedly not.

We only get snow accumulation here in Louisiana every 15 years or so. Last time, about 3-4 years ago, my poor dogs didn’t know what to make of it.
Except for the border collie I once had, all my dogs have been thrilled with snow.
The BC bounded 2 steps out when the door opened, peed right there on the deck and immediately slunk back in. Dunno why - she was plenty tall enough to handle it. Just didn’t like that weird, powdery stuff under the pads of her feet, I guess.

Otherwise I’d agree. No better breed there ever was.
Off-topic, what is this NAMING winter storms? Do they want to have a way to boost hype as for hurricanes?
I want a Bailey! Some day I will have the honor of a dog. When I get a house. Or an apartment that allows dogs. For now I have my cat.
But every time I visit one of my friends’ houses who has a dog, they get a nice bone or a chew toy from their “Auntie”.
