White House calls NRA video repugnant, cowardly

WASHINGTON (AP) The White House says a National Rifle Association video referencing President Barack Obama's daughters is "repugnant and cowardly."
Obama spokesman Jay Carney says most Americans agree that a president's children should not be used as "pawns in a political fight." Carney was referring to an online video from the pro-gun lobby. The video calls Obama an "elitist hypocrite" for having armed Secret Service agents protect his daughters at school while not committing to installing armed guards in all schools.
The NRA released the video ahead of Obama's announcement Wednesday of proposals for curbing the nation's gun violence. The president is calling on Congress to enact universal background checks and ban assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines all measures the NRA opposes.
The gun lobby has instead called for armed guards in schools.

Join a gun-supporting/2nd-amendment-supporting group. Even if you don’t own a gun...the day may come when you wish you did. At least, others may protect your freedoms. Eternal suffering to nobama and his commie ilk. May they rot in...

Please do. You will be able to vote in the elections for NRA officers, so you can help us elect officers with brass.
Also join the Second Amendment Foundation, they work in the courts.
And join your local Gun Owners association. They are usually more outspoken than the NRA.

Cannibalism could be part of a metaphor describing Obama’s use of the murdered children of the school Newtown.

To: mandaladon
What is totally repugnant is the Obamanist's willingness to restrict the right of better rooted Americans to protect their own children. No one wants to deny him the right to protect his daughters. It is the vicious double standard that is offensive--all the more so, coming from one who spent his formative years in a foreign land, with very different values than those once vouchsafed to Americans, by far better men than Obama.
The idea of limiting the means of self-defense, and the defense of basic liberties, is mean-spirited and contemptible.
For just how these issues should be viewed both historically & pragmatically: Right & Duty To Keep & Bear Arms.
George Washington wanted American households equipped with military grade small arms. Americans need to choose between George Washington's way & Obama's.
